I don't know what the deal is here, but this is the best Dairy Queen. I've ever been to excellent service. It even seemed like the food was better. I don't know how that's possible, but it is. Honestly , I couldn't figure out what the incentive was here for their employees , but I hope they're well taken good cause they do a good job..
The hot dog was really great. Interesting how the Dairy Queens have such different versions. This one doesn't have hamburgers but has hot dogs and chicken sandwiches. And while there is sign on the Interstate pointing this out, it is not very close to the interchange.

If you traveling on I-10 near Tuscon consider stopping for lunch at the Dairy Queen in Vail, AZ. The food quality is far above other fast food restaurants. The chicken tender strips were large, crisp, & very tasty. The fries were so fresh and the chocolate shake was like an old timey REAL milkshake. All this and reasonably priced too. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
