After about 30 visits since February of 21' I keep hoping and praying that the owners take advantage of having absolutely the most scenic restaurant/bar venue in Wickenburg. Find someone to lease the restaurant and bar (that understands the business) and bring a little consistency and value, and then the owners can concentrate on selling golf. Just my opinion after many many attempts......

Disappointed in the pre-made squash ravioli. What should you get? Red sauce, white sauce, garlic oil? I had the suggested white sauce, not the best. I was expecting better. There are other items on the menu I want to try. If it is all pre-made brought in food, then it is a reheat restaurant. I will see.

The steak was perfect, service was grate, and the employees were all vary accommodating, and professional. My family and I will most definitely be going back.
Spent a few days golfing over the forth of July weekend. Had a great time playing the course. Had lunch at the clubhouse after. Vodka Tonics were great! Food was wonderful. Wife had the Asian salad, lettuce was fresh (no browning), plenty of toppings, dressing was amazing. I had the Reuben, it was great. Sandwich came with fries (fries were fantastic). Everything else I saw at the table looked amazing as well. I noticed some at the table were having a Prickly Pear Lemonade, a must have! Server was great. Clubhouse/ restaurant has improved over the years. Great to see the management is continually improving things!

When you ask people around Wickenburg what they think of the hitching post, it's usually just a "they're okay." And I'd have to agree. The atmosphere is wonderful. I love the clubhouse feel. I love to look out over the golf course. Wonderful. The wait staff was friendly. The live band was surprisingly very good. The order was out fast. The food however, could be improved upon. I got the chicken parmesan. With the fried chicken breast. It tasted okay. It came out just warm. The sauce tasted very good. The chicken breading was overcooked-almost burnt. Plainly visible to both the server and the chef. But tasted good as well. My wife got the shrimp with broccoli and rice. Unfortunately, the baked potatoes were not ready yet. And, she said it was just all right. Not great, but not bad. While we probably will return at some point. I will say that the food quality does not match the prices that they charge.
