Let's be clear. Country pride sucks most of the time. Not on Thanksgiving 2024 in the Wilcox location. Annie and Stephanie were working their butts off, and still providing excellent service even though they were busy as hell being the only two on the floor. The cook seemed new, but was still doing a great job. All the food came out tasty and hot. Getting refills for the AYCE Thanksgiving feast was not a problem, and if you didn't want something on your plate they had...
Great place to stop for real food on a long stretch of road. Clean environment , nice sweet waitress. Definitely slow service at night but that’s to be expected. There was many people eating there. Definitely recommend. Hubby had the pancake combo and I the American Standard smash burger.
The food was really greasy and highly expensive but I’m poor so I see a lot of things expensive but the food is really good overall, the server was really nice even give me a free refill when I left kept on checking up on us. The atmosphere was all right. it was expensive but poor, a lot of things are expensive to me. If I had the money I would say I would go back.
