Stopped with the family and had some wonderful food. The root beer definitely lived up to the hype. I watched the renovation on HGTV when it came out, so it was very cool to be there in person. Fries and cheeseburgers were delicious and my son loved the corn dogs. If you're in Winslow, definitely worth the stop!
Iām upgrading to 3 stars solely based on service. Service was friendly and good. Food was ok, frozen pre made burgers. Hamburger was 1/8 lb. Jumbo hamburger was 1/4 lb.

We saw the remodel of The Root Beer Stand several years ago on HGTV. We finally stopped and were not disappointed! Food was delicious, staff was helpful, fun and engaged!! We're so happy we finally got there.
