Everything home made. Refried beans blew me away, combination plate is what I recommend, variety of things they offer, you won't be sorry, price is reasonable, but I wouldn't say cheap, my plate was 18$, but I highly recommend this place.
The food wasn't terrible but not what we are used to for Mexican food. Chips and Salsa portion is very small when arriving , but it saved room for my margarita, which was about a 4 star.
I was just passing through Yuma and really wanted to love this place given how close it is to the Mexican border — literally the closest crossing at Los Algodones (you could be across in about 30 minutes). But after visiting Chretin’s Mexican Food, a spot that hasn’t earned any awards in the last 10 years, it’s clear why.
