I was just passing through Yuma and really wanted to love this place given how close it is to the Mexican border — literally the closest crossing at Los Algodones (you could be across in about 30 minutes). But after visiting Chretin’s Mexican Food, a spot that hasn’t earned any awards in the last 10 years, it’s clear why.

Chretins has been around since the 40s so this isn’t my first time eating here. We dug right into our food so the pics aren’t the best but as expected everything tastes great. The service and atmosphere was really nice and Adam (our server) was Did a great job.

Fantastic little spot!!! Great tacos, salsa, guacamole and amazing margaritas. Felt like a friendly neighborhood hang out with really fun clientele. Will definitely be back when we are in town!
