Huge portions, a friendly staff, and a good menu make this the place to take out of town guests. The restaurant is somewhat small so expect a bit of a wait on busy nights. The portions are HUGE - I think I have yet to completely finish a tamale plate.

Our family of 9 had dinner last night at El Charro, and we had the pleasure of having Corieann as our server. She was absolutely amazing and kept our drinks, chips, and salsa full all night long! ❤

The food was incredible as always, and we all left with leftovers! Which is always a win! You truly can’t beat the atmosphere here. Everyone knows who you are, you’re treated like family, and the prices are amazing.

First of all, El Charro Cafe lives up to the hype. I was recommended this restaurant and made sure to go out of my way to visit. We came for lunch and started with a cheese quesadilla and added chicken. Crispy and CHEESY. Next time I will add the peppers on top as it is recommended suggestion. I had the green chili enchilada and it delicious. The portions are GENEROUS. I took leftovers home and it fed me a second time and filling. I'm still thinking about beans and rice......
