It is exactly what you imagine when you walk into a vintage diner. I was there during the lull, but the staff were still quick, friendly, and patient when I ask a few questions about the menu. Quick turn on the food and delicious. Happy I found this place and will be back. Plus they make their own baked goods for desserts.
The food is excellent and the service is even better! We stopped here 2 years ago when we stayed in Yuma and had to come back on our way through. Breakfast is delicious! I can't recommend Penny's diner enough. A must eat if you're in the area.
Love these little diners but it has to be staffed well to overlook the cramped seating...and the staff here is great.
My wife enjoyed her hopped up breakfast but thought an egg in it would have really hopped it up.
