Go elsewhere. Took my daughter here out of convenience because I'll choose Moos Creamery over frozen yogurt at this place. Especially after my recent visit. It's relatively clean with a decent atmosphere. The froyo is okay but lacks in real taste. The toppings make up for it for the most part although sometimes they are not fresh. While eating a young man came from the back kitchen with long, shaggy, unkempt hair. Seemed a little gross for him to be leaning over the toppings. I had opted for a text receipt and it came with a survey. I didn't think much of it but put my concern in the remarks.
This was their almost immediate response, "According to the Yuma County Health Department, anything above the shoulders doesn't require a hair net or to be pulled back. We have NEVER had any issues with this from them or anyone else. So I'm sorry you were "grossed out" by our staff member but we are in compliance with the health department."
It baffles me when a business doesn't care about a customer. It may be 1 here or 1 there but over time and word of mouth it'll really hurts your bottom dollar. They could have not responded at all or perhaps said they would look into it or something. But instead they decided to basically say, we don't care what you think, tough luck, shove it. Dairy Queen and Moos Creamery from here on out. I enjoy supporting smaller local businesses but not this one. Here, the customer does not come first and honestly their product is sub par in comparison.
It boggles my mind that the customer is required to wear gloves for every aspect of fulfilling their own order, but the employees don’t share in that practice nor keep themselves well groomed. I won’t return there. The only reason they are in business is because they have no competition. Their “fro-yo” is not palatable.***. This was not linked to the review they speak but as of my last visit customers were required to were gloves on each hand while the staff was not as hygienic. They do not know my age. .
