The website won't load, it says it's a security risk! I'm attaching a picture of the screenshot of the website for the landing.
We both got Mexican food. It was very American-ized. Cheddar cheese in a chimichana with very chewy chicken bits. The service was Ok. Not fast or slow or friendly or harsh. It's kind of a better Dennys with huge sports bar attached. Atmosphere and facilities are pretty with historic Yuma photos.
Great service and quality on the food!
I went there for lunch with a friend after we finished our jury duty questionaires. We sat at the bar and our server/bartender, Jessica, was amazing. One of only a handful of bartenders I've ever met that can pour a proper pint of Guiness. she was friendly, helpful and accomodating. EXCELLENT. She normally works days Mon-Wed.
We are at 3 restaurants in Yuma, and this one was the overall best. We ate here several years ago, and it still has the same good quality food, good service and interesting flight and agricultural themed interior.
Food and service was excellent. Billie was our waitress and took excellent care of us. Drinks were very good. Prices reasonable. Chimichanga was the best my wife has ever had. Fish dinner was good too. We have eaten here 3 times now.
The restaurant is near the first I-8 exit from California. I can remember stopping here as far back as 1961. There are two sections with booths and tables and a sports bar in back It is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and the menu is extensive. There are lots of historic photos on the walls and some interesting decor. We were there for breakfast and the food was good enough and the portions were large.
Foods a little better than average, but the biggest reason I come here is to be waited by Jessica. She's upbeat, frendly , and she just makes the food taste Better somehow . Thanx Jessica.
We ate here on a Sunday at noon. Parking looked full but they had 3 seating areas so we had no wait. Breakfast was served all day so my husband had the eggs Benedict which he said was delicious. I had 2 steak tacos with rice & beans, also delicious. Clean, quiet, comfortable place. If you wanted to sit & chat they didn’t rush people. Looks like lots of regulars. Definitely want to return. It was our first time here & well worth it.
Great food, reasonable prices, excellent service. Restrooms clean. Would eat here again if in the area. Great for aviation buffs with lots of pictures and memorabilia of aviation in the Yuma, AZ area.
Restaurantji Recommends
I highly recommend this place unless you're a snob. It is old and very much like a diner. It has wonderful memorobilia about Yuma's flight history. Staff is friendly.
Went out to dinner with friends. They advertise Mexican & American cuisine and their menu is set up with several Mexican dishes. I ordered chicken chimichanga that was supposed to come with rice & beans except they were out of rice. I think they were out of chicken too because the chimichanga didn’t have much chicken on it. The waiter offered me a salad to replace the rice which was nice. I also ordered a margarita blended with salt. Their blender was broken so had a margarita on the rocks which was good. My husband ordered a buffalo wing salad and it wasn’t good either. The waiter was nice.
One of my favorite hangouts, probably the best karaoke in town. Food is good but the friendly atmosphere is what keeps me coming back.
Simple landmark
Cool and cute small landmark location. Nice statue!
