We chose Yuma Landing for our HS Graduate's dinner celebration. They gave us the bar room off to the side for some privacy. Yuma Landing was quite accommodating. We had around 16 guests. We each were given a menu to order individually. The service was great; the food came out at the proper temperature and everyone was satisfied with their order. We took our own cake and had cake and ice cream for dessert. Yuma Landing provided plates and utensils. I was amazed at how well the event went. Thank you Yuma Landing.
Such a cool place. Very historic to Yuma. Lots of pictures on the wall. Food was good and service was great. No issues here. A must go to when in Yuma. See our YouTube channel Coolest Life.
Service started out slow which is typical when you get seated in the bar area and not the dining room. The battered fries were great! Hot and crispy! The regular fries were not hot or crispy. The patty melt was ok. The loaded BLT was lacking in what I thought would be more bacon. The taco salad was actually quite good. A nice mix of salad and taco meat.
Went by and then back again and they watched (empty) parking lot (staying across the street) looking for drinks and dinner - but was empty? What happened to the lively bustling happening place from last year? Seems like it's suddenly dead. The used to be a cool old school place motel was sold (not for the better), and was this place too? Used to have a great motel breakfast (no more) and the evenings were great and just across the street -- but it all seems to be over?
Earlier this morning I was scrolling social media when I saw a post by the Yuma Landing Restaurant. They showed a picture of their pancakes and they were huge. So, I made it a point to get our office together and pay them a visit. Of course, I ordered the Pancake Combo which came with two pancakes, eggs, and your choice of meat which could be sausage links, a patty, or chorizo. I went for the classic choice, the links. I asked the hostess to make sure my hot cakes were a tad toasty. The pancakes were toasty and fluffy, the eggs cooked to perfection and the links had a little char to them which I absolutely loved. Our hostess Jessica was a force she was all over the place with a pot of coffee in one hand and a pitcher of water in the other. I was truly impressed, it was a great meal and Jessica was genuinely attentive to all our needs.
Awful experience. Very disappointed. I used to really enjoy this place. The bartender’s attitude was terrible. Food was bad as well.
We went to the Landing for dinner on a Saturday night (3/16/24), there was 5 of us. Marcus was our waiter who sat us in the bar area and took our orders. Most of the dinner crowd was gone. Even though he wrote everything down, there were still mistakes. The drinks came out in the wrong glasses, we ordered drinks in pint glasses but they came in cocktail glasses. Not a HUGE mistake but still. The bartender rolled his eyes when we sent it back. When our food came out it was not all at the same time, some orders were wrong. I ordered the pancakes meal, which was good but the bacon was extra salty. We ordered well done wings but they definitely were not. Salsa was very garlicky. My cousin ordered the chimichanga with steamed veggies on the side. The broccoli came out cold and the chimichanga was cold on the inside so the waiter took the plate back. A few mins later (long enough to remake a plate) the KITCHEN MANAGER came out and said he stuck his finger in the burrito and it was hot & he didn’t know what to tell us since he wasn’t remaking it. And he said that we were going to pay for it since it wasn’t being taken off the check. My cousin said ok well I can’t have it back now since you stuck your finger in it and the manager walked off. My cousin is over 70 years old and never sends food back. We weren’t looking to have anything comped but it did need to be hot. Daniel the bartender came over and asked what happened then came back and said he talked to Cory, another manager and addressed it. He took the plate off the check since we never got anything brought back/replaced. I wasn’t done with my meal but after that, I was. Daniel asked that we give them another chance when he’s there so he could take care of us. I’ve been there before and the food and service is usually just ok, so I’m not sure I’ll go back. Everyone at the table wrapped up drinks and was pretty much done. It was very surprising and rather embarrassing to have kitchen staff come out and tell a customer what he’s not going to do.
The website won't load, it says it's a security risk! I'm attaching a picture of the screenshot of the website for the landing.
We both got Mexican food. It was very American-ized. Cheddar cheese in a chimichana with very chewy chicken bits. The service was Ok. Not fast or slow or friendly or harsh. It's kind of a better Dennys with huge sports bar attached. Atmosphere and facilities are pretty with historic Yuma photos.
Great service and quality on the food!

I went there for lunch with a friend after we finished our jury duty questionaires. We sat at the bar and our server/bartender, Jessica, was amazing. One of only a handful of bartenders I've ever met that can pour a proper pint of Guiness. she was friendly, helpful and accomodating. EXCELLENT. She normally works days Mon-Wed.
We are at 3 restaurants in Yuma, and this one was the overall best. We ate here several years ago, and it still has the same good quality food, good service and interesting flight and agricultural themed interior.
Food and service was excellent. Billie was our waitress and took excellent care of us. Drinks were very good. Prices reasonable. Chimichanga was the best my wife has ever had. Fish dinner was good too. We have eaten here 3 times now.
The restaurant is near the first I-8 exit from California. I can remember stopping here as far back as 1961. There are two sections with booths and tables and a sports bar in back It is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and the menu is extensive. There are lots of historic photos on the walls and some interesting decor. We were there for breakfast and the food was good enough and the portions were large.
Foods a little better than average, but the biggest reason I come here is to be waited by Jessica. She's upbeat, frendly , and she just makes the food taste Better somehow . Thanx Jessica.
