“There's been a power outage in parts of BC for over 10 hours today (some 200k+ without power). Understandably, when we got to the White Spot, Kensington Square, there was a crowd of folk looking to get a meal. Under these circumstances, the service was as good as could be expected. Emma, our server, was a delight. She kept checking in us even though she had so many tables to manage. Christine, the AGM was brilliant! Calm, welcoming, beautiful warm smile that let us know she had everything under control and we'd be seated as soon as was possible. Jeferson (one f) the GM was dealing with everything else to ensure things went smoothly, and still had time to offer us a free dessert because our meal had been delayed.“

“Came here for Pirate Pak Day, which is probably peak busy day for White Spot. Had about a half hour wait before we were seated, but good thing is they have a large free parking lot.

Service was a bit slower, which is expected given how busy the place was.

Good location for family dining and usually has seating available. Definitely gets busier as more people live in the Brentwood area.“

“We went in during happy hour at 8:30. It looked pretty busy. However, we were seated quickly.

Absolutely phenomenal service by Olivia. Very attentive and checked on us frequently! Very kind and nice

The drinks were delicious, especially the bellenis. Nats lager was smooth and wasent bitter

The food was pretty good! However, I am a bit peeved at the portion for the new home style potroast, could have used more beef. The cabanara bacon and shrimp were by far the best dish we had. The double patty burger was good and bit dry and saucy, causing the bun to get soggy towards the end.

The atmosphere does feel a tad outdated, and it was odd that there wasn't anyone dining in the patio despite the propane pyramid heat towers being on.

I would recommend dining at White Spot Scott & 72nd

“My husband and I are Saturday morning regulars. We find the quality of the ingredients are excellent and think White Spot has the best multigrain toast! All the servers are delightful but Liam stole our hearts and makes us feel so special! What a great guy and a wonderful asset for White Spot!“

“What a great spot! My husband and I are from out of town and wanted a place to have lunch while in New West for the day.
We chose White Spot as we have always found them a good choice. I have food allergies and they are very good about making sure my meal meets my needs. It is nice to find a place when traveling that allows me to feel comfortable ordering.
The atmosphere is great and all the staff were friendly and helpful. When the meal came my husband and I were both very pleased with our meal. I am almost sorry our travels don’t take us to New West to enjoy this restaurant experience more often.“
