Amazing Persian food! Everything tasted just like home — fresh, delicious, and full of flavour. The service was warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere was cozy and comfortable. One of the best Persian restaurants in Vancouver for sure! Highly recommend trying their kebabs and stews. I will definitely come back again!“

“A few of the Deep cove lions club. 🦁🦁🦁 ladies met for lunch .8 of us. Kudos by everyone. The most popular was the calamari....WE. Would rate it the best any of us had ever had anywhere...and most of us are well travelled... ..Our server was so patient and graciously helped us with deciding our food choices.. We were all delighted by the wonderful and delicious foods we so enjoyed...thank you. Saboo! We're going to be back for sure!!!“

“Just tried Tanje Restaurant and the food was honestly amazing. The Persian flavors were so rich and authentic. The grilled chicken was perfectly cooked and paired so well with the fragrant saffron rice. The hummus was incredibly creamy and flavorful, and the warm pita on the side made it even better. The grilled vegetables and fresh onions with lime added the perfect balance to the meal.
Everything tasted fresh, well-seasoned, and really satisfying. You can tell they put a lot of care into the food. Definitely one of the best Persian meals I’ve had. Highly recommend if you’re looking for delicious, comforting food. I’ll definitely be coming back!“

Owners are great with Customer service.. but the employees rush you to eat fast and vacate the place.. Emps have an attitude, but all the 3 owners are awesome and have great smiling customer service. 👏“

Very pretty place. Lots of images & objects displayed on the walls depicting Iranian culture, history, famous people etc.
Also their payment system lets you access a record of your purchase online, which is kinda cool“

“I have been to both Akbar Joojeh in Lonsdale and I love the service and people here the most. Paniz was super nice and patient. It was very crowded and long line but she managed the line and the tables with great attitude and a smile. The food was tasty and great portion. The atmosphere was great. The kitchen staff there were some hard working people and I truly enjoyed my experience there.“

“We went there for dinner with a group of friends. It was my second time visiting. I ordered the Joojeh Kebab (Thai chicken) and kebab loghme which was good quality and served in a generous portion. However, one of the waiters was not polite —especially considering it was only 8:30 p.m. They seemed tired and a bit rude. Overall, I liked the food, but the restaurant needs a strong manager to better train the staff.“

It’s fully stocked with a wide variety of Iranian brands, ingredients for kebabs, and traditional cooking utensils. Prices are slightly higher than other Iranian markets, but the quality and selection make up for it. Don’t miss the Sangak bakery at the back—the bread is fresh and consistently excellent.“

“Went to Haida Sandwich in North Van to try out their Haida hot, Haida Special and Turkey breast sandwich. All of them were delicious especially the cold cut sandwiches. Way bigger than Subway and comes with mini fries. This place is always busy, restaurant is clean. The only thing I didn't like is the airport style receipt checks they do on you. 😂“

The food quality was excellent, delivered warm and fresh, and beautifully packed with top-quality disposable dishes.
