Branch on Bowen | Narwhal On Bowen

Cute spot but small, with a small menu. Also I tried to order when there a few weeks ago and the power shut off. Was thankful I hadn’t paid yet as it we were told we would have had to wait till the owner got there. Food looked good though. Didn’t see waffles anymore on the menu so the photos online were a bit misleading.

This is an absolutely must when visiting Bowen. The tacos are amazing. Give all four a try. They also have some delicious ice cream that you can enjoy while waiting for the ferry.

We got a few tacos 🌮 and they were amazing! So unique and flavorful! Then we had ice cream and it was also delicious. A great little spot with a relaxing vibe.

amazing food and very friendly staff! it was my first time visiting bowen and had a quick snack here before hopping on the ferry back home.

However it took 50 minutes to get 3 chicken tacos and 2 beef….

I've been to Branch on Bowen many times for ice cream before a ferry sailing back to the mainland. The staff are friendly and the ice cream is fantastic - such was the case today. However, I'm disappointed by the lack of air conditioning available - this seems to be common among establishments on Bowen, which was surprising. I was with older-aged parents who would have appreciated the cool down. Sadly, we were also in a rush to get to the ferry, and it seemed to take longer than typical to get served after paying. Hoping for a better experience next time.

Bomb vegan ice cream. Recommend the berry flavour, which has a creamy coconut base, granola and pie crust in addition to berries!

I had the plate of 3, vegan tacos here, while waiting for the ferry. They were amazing, tasty, and had a lot of healthy ingredients. I was assured that they were gluten-free, too. They also many different vegan flavours of Earnest Icecream, WHICH I LOVE, but I was too full after my tacos.

I absolutely love this place! It’s not just a cozy café with great vibes, but it also has a cute gift shop section where you can find unique souvenirs and cool items.

The whole place has such a charming and welcoming atmosphere. It’s the perfect spot to grab a coffee, relax, and browse through their collection of quirky and interesting products.

If you’re visiting Bowen Island, don’t miss out on this gem. It’s a must-visit and adds a special touch to your trip!

One of the best ice cream I had which is Coconut flavoured one, very unique, and yum. One can enjoy the view from the shop or can purchase candles, kids items, brooches, and so on. Unfortunately, when I visited second time store was out of coconut flavour. Peace out

Best tacos on Bowen island!! Though I didn't try any other tacos, but I didn't need to! These tacos are soooo good. I tried all of them. The chicken and salmon were probably my favorite but they were all really good. I am just sad we only ate here once while we were there. I will definitely come back if we are ever on Bowen island. Breathtaking view from branch and it's right next to the ferry, so a great spot if you like to people watch. I believe they are open later for dinner and there aren't many places on Bowen open for dinner. I would highly recommend.
