Zach/Renee and the team at Tell Your Friends are great. They have created an incredibly cozy environment, the food is 10/10, highly recommend the BLT + Egg, the tahini cookie, and they have the best coffee on the island. I believe the only negative comments are by the people who forget they are on an island and don't tell the staff that they are stressed out to get on the ferry.
Everything you need to eat on Bowen Island is on the pier. This consistently delicious, always friendly 'micro-cafe' takes its output very seriously and has made a lasting impression on locals and visitors alike. Personal favourites include the cream of cardamom tea paired with just about any sandwich...take your pic, you can't miss. Picture a beautiful sunny morning on the pier on bowen Island where you can watch the ferry docking and add a wonderful tumaric latte very tasty curry chick pea salad but of course I had to add 4 slices of bacon very tasty the sandwiches are great also with the bacon they use that life for now.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian sandwiches soups and salad.Parking: There are very few spots near the pier, but if you don't mind paying Park at steam ship marina short walk to the Cafe.
