Had the eggs and bacon breakfast. I was impressed with the bread as it seemed to be made in house. Self serve coffee was great with multiple options for coffee, milk/cream and sugars. Friendly staff. Delicious cookies, we had a double chocolate and a peanut butter one.
This is a treasure of a place with great food at really affordable prices, friendly staff and owner-operators that are brimming with hilarious personality. I love the eggers in the morning, and the sandwiches are solid, desserts like the apple turnover and cinnamon roll are amazing.

When you get off the ferry on Bowen Island walk straight up the hill and turn left onto Dorman Road. Don’t get sidetracked with the restaurants and businesses in the way, you can always go back and visit them on your way back. You want to get to the Village Baker and enjoy a nice coffee with an amazing pastry. This is the best way to start your visit in Bowen Island!
