We had fish of the day - sable (black cod) - the seafood cannelloni, and crab+shrimp cakes.
The crab and shrimp cakes were the best part with great sauce.
Cannelloni was alright, it will leave you satisfied but not wowed.
The sable, if we could go back in time, would not have ordered again. The horseradish sauce was strong and didn't pair well with the mild fish. It was our first time eating sable so trying something new. I wouldn't say sable tastes special the way it was prepared here so a cheaper white fish would taste just as fine if you're curious about it. And it came with beans and rice as a side - they were watery and didn't taste like much.
The environment is great here, got to see a harbor seal, crabs and little fish.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in town. I love the food it's a simple but delicious menu. The staff are exceptional and the atmosphere is amazing. The small restaurant has a huge patio to sit outside and inside it's full of trinkets from Louisiana. It feels like your there.

What a spot! Located on the water, you are surrounded by the sounds, smells and life of the Brentwood Bay Marina. With a phenomenal, easy-going staff team, and the bluesy music that serenades you the moment you enter, everything about this place screams Louisiana Creole cooking. Of course, the food is delicious as well (with a healthy amount of seasonal/daily menu items), making this is a must-eat spot on the peninsula.

Small seaside restaurant with a sparkling personality ✨️ ! The food was on the pricey side but it tasted amazing, it was not a loss! We experienced very kind and personable service. There is a happy coast side atmosphere with a boat dock seascape. They also offer the option to dine inside or on the coastside deck. Lunch menu and dinner menu are different, although there are all-day entrees too! Would come again if I visit Victoria again ❤️ thank you!

Wheelchair accessibility: Not very wheelchair friendly because you must go through stairs to get to the restaurant, but we were kindly allowed to bring our foldable wheelchair in

One of the restaurant workers seemed to be having a bad day and was super grouchy and speaking rudely with her coworkers when we got there which set the tone off. When we were being seated she came out and yelled at me because she thought I was randomly walking in and sitting down an and didn’t realize my son and I were with the party being seated which was weird. I’m so glad we stayed because after that we had a wonderful server and never saw her again. The water was super clear, the sunset view was great, and it was nice for my son to be able to walk around the path near the restaurant while we waited for our food. I recommend the horseradish fish of the day and the cornbread. I used to do volunteer work near NOLA in Mississippi after the hurricanes and the food was authentic to that area. :-)
