I dislike all drinking teas, so have coffee with my afternoon tea. I commented to out server, that it would have been much preferable to have coffee served in an individual French Press, rather than from a thermos (not great coffee). Also, it is much "classier", in keeping with the overall experience.
This was the perfect setting for my Mum's 90th birthday. The service and food was wonderful!! A big thanks to the dining room staff for making this a memorable event for a special occasion.
The food and atmosphere was fantastic, but you maybe get too much tea. The pace of the (delicious) snacks means you're either guaranteed a bathroom break or too many tannins in the final cup of tea.
