So I only gave it 3 stars today because it took almost 45 minutes for us to get our food.. Our server was outstanding and getting us a piece of toast for my niece that was feeling ill at the time.. But it did take 45 minutes for us to get our actual meals... A little bit disappointed as I normally always have a great experience at this diner..

It was great to find a vegan option near Brentwood Bay. The tofu hash was OK, and the place was great. We loved the diner vibe, vintage posters & photos, etc. Our waitress was a delight.

Worst service I’ve ever had! Seated right away, restaurant was not busy. We waited approximately 15 minutes for our server to show up at our table even though several other servers walked by repeatedly and I tried to get their attention. We ordered and waited another 20 minutes and didn’t even get our drinks.

Okay breakfast place, but wouldn't go out of my way to come back. Have a bit of a bone to pick regarding the Hollywood Bowl containing "Brisket". It's not Brisket, it is definitely thick cut Montreal Smoked Meat.One of the waitresses was sick and kept walking around while coughing. She should have been sent home, it was very off putting.

This place is a great breakfast/brunch spot. Food and drinks are always good and reasonably priced for what you get. Mahoney Caesars are 10/10.

Brentwood Bay Floyd's is the worst. Firstly, they don't answer the phone.. had to drive to the restaurant to try to make a reservation. There was almost no one in the restaurant.The greeter seemed confused about how to make a reservation, she then asked the manager, (who was busy sitting on a stool, doing nothing but playing on her phone). The manager then yells out that there's no reservations on Stat Holidays. November 13th isn't a Stat holiday genius!!The whole restaurant is a fail... rude, uneducated, lousy service, food is sub par.. The ownership needs to take some steps to right the ship. Get rid of the manager for a start.

Extremely disappointed, I’ve been to Floyd’s many times and it’s usually very good but today not at all . My eggs were extremely undercooked my bacon was overcooked I wasn’t told they were out of sausage before my meal arrived and they just doubled up on the burnt bacon and it was soooo cold in the restaurant, the waitress told us the heat is broken and it wasn’t going to fixed anytime soon , I’m sorry it’s November and it’s cold out hence it was freezing in the place and this from a guy who almost never gets cold so my pancakes were ice cold in a matter of minutes as well as the potato patties they pass off as hashbrowns . I was so looking forward to going out for breakfast as we don’t get out as often as we’d like just to have this debacle happen , anyway they did not charge me for my meal which they shouldn’t have as I ate a half a pancake 1 piece of bacon and half of one egg but I will not be rushing back there

We had a pretty good experience here and really like the unique menu options and variety. From taco salad to eggs Benedict and everything in between! The staff was excellent and friendly. The Eggs Benedict was delicious but not very warm unfortunately. There is a temporary heating issue with the restaurant so I won’t completely fault the kitchen. It was a bit chilly sitting in there. The poutine was outstanding, and fries are cooked to perfection. Very generous portions and the loved the smiles from the staff. A great stop before heading to the gardens. We will definitely come back again.
