.🥲Normally have an ok experience. Today though had the Austin Benny andwas very disappointed. When they state porkbelly and you get shaved roast porkbelly that is not seasoned and because it is thinner than their bacon super chewy and distracts from the other flavours of the dish which are okay.
If they rubbed it and braised the belly and cut proper thick slices for porkbelly it would do the oppisite and add to the dish 🥲.
My family and I are visiting from New Jersey USA. This restaurant is near our location. I am a Chef by trade and career. When I say that the Food and Service was Exceptional, Take my Word for it. The Pleasantness and Professionalism of Sarah our Server to The Mahoney Breakfast Chef makes you your Breakfast or Lunch to what he decides to put on your plate. biz trip to Vic yesterday and we checked out the Royal Oak location and thoroughly enjoyed a seriously super FAB breakie — super cute decor • awesome freakin’ food • super dooper service from Andrew who makes a crazy good “shaft” — 10/10 and we can’t wait to go back again! 🩷

Customers enjoy the large portions, fantastic food, and excellent service, with the only downside being the lack of a location in some areas.
