The Dining Room at Butchart Gardens

Amazing experience. Loved the variety of food and the number of different teas offered. A great thing to do with friends and family.

Butchart Gardens never disappoints! Whether in the magnificent gardens or having High Tea! A must see!

Stellar service, pastries, view, value, and experience! I'll be recommending to other friends who visit Victoria, and can't wait for whenever I come back next!

The food and atmosphere was fantastic, but you maybe get too much tea. The pace of the (delicious) snacks means you're either guaranteed a bathroom break or too many tannins in the final cup of tea.

We really enjoyed our vegan and vegetarian afternoon teas at Butchart Gardens. The service was attentive and knowledgeable, and the food and teas were delicious. And of course the view of the gardens is spectacular!

Food was good but could have been a little hotter. Service was good and food came quickly. Waitress was very pleasant.

This tea was amazing. We went for a walk in the gardens then warmed up with tea + infront of the fire. DEFINITELY I would recommend. The service was also very helpful in explaining the tea (food plus choice of teas). Thanks, will be back.

Afternoon Tea in the conservatory was a wonderful experience in a lovely setting. Welcoming staff and excellent service. A nice assortment of teas, miniature sandwiches, scones and small desserts.

Everything about the afternoon tea service was lovely. The dining room is filled with beautiful flower arrangements. The view from our table into the adjacent garden was lovely. Our server was exceptional, friendly, and knowledgeable. The tea, savories, and sweet were delicious. As a vegetarian, it was delightful to see a menu curated to meet my dietary preferences.

We had a lovely high tea in a beautiful setting! Several teas to choose from and plenty of food. We couldn't finish it all and they provided take away boxes. Would recommend!

We had such a great time at afternoon tea! The staff were super friendly and made us feel right at home. The tiered tray was both pretty and tasty, with a nice mix of little sandwiches, scones, and sweets. Everything felt fresh and thoughtfully put together. The tea selection was fun to explore, and our server gave us helpful tips on what to try. Nothing felt rushed—we could just sit, chat, and enjoy the afternoon. The atmosphere was relaxed but still special, the kind of place you'd want to bring a friend or loved one for a treat. Overall, it was such a nice way to spend the afternoon. Would definitely come back
