Went for high tea: The setting is phenomenal, the service is fantastic. The food is terrible, the tea is worse. The savories were flavourless and the sweets were sugar, without refinement. The tea's were flavoured and there was no way to remove the tea leaves from the pot, making it over-brewed and bitter. That said, they are offering high tea to tourists and serving the lowest common denominator - we're all there for the garden, tea is just an add on tourist trap and...
My husband and I absolutely enjoyed this beautiful garden. The views from our tea experience were lovely. We got to see part of the rose garden as well as the Italian garden and the water. The location is absolutely beautiful. We thought the tea was a very good value. The sandwiches were delicious. The desserts were phenomenal. The service was also pretty good. We had tea at the Empress Hotel later on that evening and this tea experience was a pretty comparable experience.

Service teams were mostly exceptional - especially Arden, Sean, and Neda.
The atmosphere is choice, and the delightful hostesses will do their best to accommodate. The inside window tables have excellent garden views.
