On Christmas Eve, everyone started their Christmas vacation. When I couldn't find the turkey, this restaurant with a fried chicken shop came into my sight. The boss was very enthusiastic and introduced me in detail to me who couldn't understand the menu. Thank you very much! Although it took about 15 minutes to wait for the fresh frying, it was worth the wait! The fried chicken and fries are very delicious! ! This was the first time I bought such a large piece of fried chicken. The outside was not particularly impressive, but the inside was tender and juicy, making it very delicious. The freshly squeezed fries have no added salt and are very delicious. Will come back and thank the boss for introducing other delicious fried chicken restaurants on the street.
I was in such a hurry to eat the fries that I forgot to take a photo😅Happily, the price is reasonable in my opinion.

I tried the new items they have added to their menu with the name of Chicky bites and I’m impressed! I ordered a Nashville sandwich, a beef burger, and some crispy fried chicken for takeout.
The first thing that caught my attention was the pricing, very reasonable compared to other places in the area. Despite the affordability, the portions are generous, with the burgers being a good size and satisfying. Taste-wise, the flavors were on point. The Nashville sandwich had a nice spicy kick, the beef burger was juicy and flavorful, and the crispy chicken was perfectly cooked with a crunchy coating. Everything was fresh and well-prepared. Overall, this place offers great value for money and delicious food. I’ll definitely be going back to explore more of their menu!

Went there on December 1, 2024 (Sunday). The store was open, but while checking the menu, someone from the kitchen or cash counter mentioned that the store was only open for the purpose of adding a new menu item. I don’t mind that, but they should have posted a notice on the door or outside windows so that people wouldn’t feel awkward. Truly disappointed.

The food is simply terrible, the quality of the products is the worst, the taste is bad, and the meat is old and in bad condition.
The worst shawarma I have ever tried in my life. First of all, the place was filthy and full of flies. That alone should have stopped me but I wanted to test it out based on the reviews. The chicken shawarma sandwich was AWFUL. It was so so dry and just absolutely full of lettuce, with super dry chicken that is not seasoned well and tastes nothing like shawarma chicken. The bread was also dry and was falling apart. I threw it away after a few bites and just walked out.

Abdul’s bbq is one of the greatest shawarma shops in Burnaby. Not only are the portion sizes more than generous, the food is fantastic. The falafel plate is a must try- best falafel out there and the pita with garlic and hot sauce is to die for. Service is impeccable, and the atmosphere of the restaurant is cozy and welcoming. Definitely will be coming back regularly !!
I got a chicken rice plate... took two bites and threw it away. I don't understand how this is considered food. It's like burnt dry over seasoned chicken.. I can't even explain how awful it is. Over 20 buck, really?
