I had the marinara which I thought was really good. My dog had the water bowl. We both found the experience enjoyable. The service was friendly and I left bigger tip than I usually do. I will definitely be back to try more of the menu.

Comfortable home-y vibe and friendly service. Limited parking was available at the back.The serving size and appears to be good value, however the flavour of the pasta is completely off. I would prefer Boston Pizza instead frankly. Packed most of it to go, as the portions were huge however the sauce did not taste good, and left an odd aftertaste in my mouth.Salad was great.

I award two stars to Amorosa for their service and the atmosphere. Our server was very sweet and helpful. I also think the home-style feel inside is comforting. Also the portions are very good.I think the issue with the food and the reason no one enjoyed it was because the pasta clearly wasn’t fresh and tasted like it had been in the freezer for a long time and perhaps picked up the flavour of all the things sitting in the freezer with it. The pasta sauces and salad dressings seemed to have a weird taste. We were also given focaccia bread with olive oil and vinegar but it must have been a cheap oil or something because it was a clear colour rather than yellow and didn’t taste olive oil.Overall, I had expected more from a restaurant that has been around for as long as I can remember having lived in Burnaby my whole life. Unfortunately I won’t be giving it another chance for quite some time. And I hope that Amorosa’s can make some changes to the food and get people back in the door. Thanks to the restaurant for reading this if you do.

Their portion size is very good for the price, and I really liked their soup! Though I wasn't a fan of their pasta, as it was quite watery and blend despite the sheer amount of pepper I added in. The restaurant atmosphere kinda gave a Kitchen Nightmare vibe, but I would come here for a very large portion of pasta :)

We have been here 2 times now after our kids play sports. They are very accommodating each time getting us in. Prices, quality and size are amazing. So many great options at very fair prices. Our server both times was so great with 0 mistakes on orders and biling. This will be a regular spot for me from now on.
Charged an extra $3 to have my Baked Lasagna from the special item menu which did not list a surcharge for baking the baked lasagna. Seriously this mess of a plate? This place finally lost my business after 21 yrs.Parking: Barely any spots in very dark parking lot accessed by an alley

We were a group of 29. I was so impressed with how well our waitress handled the group. Our food was delivered table by table nice and hot. It was not the first time our family group has eaten here, and the food is consistently good. Thank you everyone at Amorosa for all your hard work making my Dads birthday celebration a great night!

Had made a reservation for a birthday dinner a week in advance but when we arrived there it was not acknowledged and was just pointed to the table.After dinner hostess arrived with the bill. Finally I said that it was my 12 year old grandson s birthday and he needs a dessert. Ice cream was agreed upon and came with no candles or acknowledgement. I was very disappointed especially for him, however it was NOT the only party he had.
