You have to visit Dahlak. The warmest welcome when I arrived. The atmosphere was so cool. I have not even gotten to the food yet. Mmmmmmmm! Wow! The food was out of this world. You must go and expirence it for your self. It's a very cool place to bring a group of friends eat the best food, laugh, listen to music and soak up the amazing vibes.
Gedam, an Uber driver, recommended Dahlak Restaurant to me. Gedam, thank you!! Dahlak is a hidden gem on Edmonds, just east of Canada Way.The food was delicious AND excellent value. Our main fed four people (two men, two women). Highly recommend the main, Dahlak special meat platter with injera. The two starters, spicy fried lamb and hummus with pita were *really* good too. I ordered the Anises Crispy Chicken, which while delicious was not as described. It was not crispy at all... It came served in a puddle of oily sauce and was not battered as described.Quite delicious but not what I expected by their description. I would suggest the name change.
