We’re Persian and tried this Afghan restaurant for the first time. The kebabs were amazing—really flavorful, juicy, and so close in taste to the food we grew up with. The quality was excellent and it honestly felt like a taste of home with a nice Afghan twist. Definitely recommend and will be coming back!

I visited Aria Afghan grill
Restaurant with my family and we had a good experience. The staff were friendly and the place had a calm, relaxed atmosphere that wasn’t too busy. The food was tasty and well-prepared, though the rice could have been a little better. Overall, it’s a comfortable spot to enjoy Afghan food.

Simply awesome … me and my daughter, originally from Pakistan, living in Denmark (Europe), visiting Vancouver just randomly picked Aria Afghan Grill on map to try some afghan flavors & let me say, we just “LOVED” it … at the end, my appetite was done yet craving was still long to go 😅. We were received very kindly with a great welcoming attitude by the hostess. We ordered roasted eggplant in tomatoes, topped with garlic dressing (a Genuine flavors blast), called “borani banjan” as appetizer (trust me I could have that as well for main course), chapli kebab with naan & fries, and an afghan spice marinated chicken wrap. Throughout the dinner we were very well attended by the hostess which for me is the TOP TOP reason to visit a place again. The food tasted, simply out of this world. The freshness of flavors can’t be described in words. An absolute must try. Please note, there is no alcohol on menu & it is 100% halal food. Really worth every penny. We were so mesmerized just by food that took only few pics

We ordered the Quabili Pallow from Afghan Grill through Uber Eats and were very disappointed. The rice itself was not bad, but the meat portion was shockingly small. For nearly $35, the order came with just one small shank that was mostly bone, skin, and fat, with hardly any actual meat. At this price, there should have been at least a reasonable serving of meat included. Sadly, this was not worth the money.

I paid $35 for 1 Quabili pallow with lamb shank super expensive for not enough meet mostly bone, sorry but disappointed

Cute restaurant. Good service. Food was tasty and not over salted. However my biggest issue is the prices. They are considerably higher than other comparable places. I would give this place a 4 or 4.5 if the prices weren’t so high. For $30-$60 per plate I expect a much higher standard.

Service was slow. Lots of rice, but not enough meat for the price.
