Tasty food with good portion. The owner seems very nice and tell us about how his kitchen crew prioritizes hygiene (!)The indoor seating smells very strongly of washroom cleaner or fragrance. It gives me a headache so we chose to sit outside. However the traffic on Lougheed highway was so loud, it was a very distracting experience. Perhaps I will do takeout next time.

Despite my hopes for a satisfying Afghan meal, my visit left much to be desired.While the menu at Aria Afghan Restaurant did offer a variety of options, including lamb dishes, the overall quality of the food fell short of expectations. My dining companion and I found the dishes to be lacking in flavor and freshness. Additionally, the prices seemed disproportionately high considering the quality of the food served.One positive aspect of our visit was the yogurt drink, known as dough, which provided a refreshing contrast to the lackluster main dishes. However, this alone was not enough to salvage the overall dining experience.Furthermore, the ambiance of the restaurant left much to be desired. The atmosphere felt uninspiring and did not contribute positively to our dining experience.As a patron who values authenticity and quality in dining, I rarely find myself compelled to leave negative feedback. Food was great, the Shami Kabab was good but the Chicken Kabab was amazing! Chicken was not dry at all. Highly recommend and make sure you get the Qabuli Polo with your kabab as it pairs beautifully. Prices were standard for this day in age. Lots of parking and inside is clean. Patio looks nice so we will be back to experience it in the summer.

I would highly recommend this place not only because of food also service was amazing.The owner lady served us and she figured my mom come here for the first time so she welcomed her with the traditional sweet dish firni and it was on house.My son loved it very much.She was very welcoming went extra mile to make us feel special.I really appreciate it .All over very good experience ..!!!
