The cooking fumes were extremely strong—almost made me feel dizzy—and the food wasn’t very good either, just average.

The best and most authentic Taiwanese restaurant I have had in a long time. I loved everything about this shop. The meal truly felt home cooked. I loved that the set came with sweet black tea (you have the option of a miso soup or iced black tea), which was delicious and the right amount of sweetness. We ordered the sweet and sour fish on rice set, the spicy eggplant rice set, the braised pork rice, and a plate of Taiwanese fried chicken to share. Every bite was perfection. I would absolutely come again and don’t forget to bring cash to avoid paying the credit card surcharge!

A home style cooking restaurant. The dishes are not elegantly plated it is more like what your family would serve at dinner. The combo is decent value, Miso soup or black tea, rice, fried tofu, stir fried Taiwanese cabbage, and a choice of 2 mains. We choose Kung Pao chicken and satay beef. The decor is basic and a bit run down but the service was quick and the food tasted good. Like many Asian businesses in Metro Vancouver, they prefer cash. You can pay with cash or debit card but if you really want to pay with credit there is a 50¢ charge. They will also charge 50¢ for a takeout container.

Simple flavorful tasty dishes thats got good portions and value. The meal sets is such a good deal. Have been here several times and never had a bad experience. Comfort Taiwanese food in a very low key casual setting.

I've been here over a dozen times and the food has been great every time. The combo for two is good value and highly recommended. My wife also loves the shrimp and masago fried rice (not part of the combo).

Really delicious taiwanese food, reminds you of home cooking. Comfy vibes and good service. Think it's the best taiwanese restaurant in the area by far.

Good affordable Chinese food, hidden around the corner by the dentist office.
The price is good and food is fresh. They only accept cash or debit. Limited seats.

Good food and portions for the price. All mains I believe comes with a free sweetened iced tea. We ordered the beef noodle (they didn’t have the original so we got the tomato broth), as well as the salt and pepper chicken combo with sides. Both dishes were felt very homemade and they were easy to eat and digest. The menu is extensive and there is a lot to choose from for the mains. Space is not very big and it was quite busy when we went on a Sunday for lunch. Lots of people were getting take out too.

This is the only place in the GVRD where the food is so good that I forget to take pictures of it! 🤤

As a taiwanese myself, the food is outstanding, even the side dishes. I've been eating this 3 days straight and still keep.coming back.

Nice comfortable, affordable eatery if you long for taiwanese food (like I do). Friendly staff, really nice 2 people combos that gives you a flexible variety of dishes, including the taiwanese style salt, crispy chicken. Includes vegetable dishes, too, cause veggies are good for you! Very busy in the evenings even during a weekday so come with some time to spare for the wait.

WILL RETURN
Taiwanese Comfort food. My go-to restaurant for sit-down or take-out lunch after doing grocery shopping @ Crystal Mall. Cash or debit cards accepted. Enter restaurant from outside, right next to the entrance of the underground mall parkade. It might be $1 or 2 more expensive than those offered at the food court but well worth it. The portion is huge for me. There is often enough leftovers for lunch the next day (or two :)
