Chao Shou Wang Reviews
Lives up to the hype! Dan Dan noodles here were sooooo tasty. I asked for less spicy, which was perfect for me as it still had the mouth-numbing sichuan peppercorn taste. Flavourful, had meat, and plenty of noodles. For $11 you can’t really complain!
Ordered the Dan Dan medium spicy and wonton . Both large portion and good value. Would I go out of the way to come here again? Probably not
I got the dry spicy wontons and dan dan noodles. I can eat a lot, but getting both was too much to finish. I had to go back a few days later because I was craving more wontons, and now I need to go back for more dan dan (flavour so good). I like spicy food, and asked for medium, and it was just right. Sichuan peppercorns make my mouth weirdly extra numb (allergy?), and I got a lot of that from these wontons, but they taste so good I still went back (worth it).

Chao Shou Wang offers good food at reasonable prices in the Crystal Mall food court. This no-nonsense eatery presents high quality food with many options at great prices. The restaurant's signature dish is the pork dumplings with roasted peanuts and Sichuan oil numbing spice, which is highly recommended, especially the medium spicy option. Customers also enjoy the Dan Dan Noodles and Sichuan Cold Noodles, which have a good balance of flavors. The dry spicy wontons are a must-try, resembling dumplings with tasty meat filling. The House Spicy Noodle special (#7) always satisfies. The dry wontons with peanuts are also very delicious and satisfying. Service is fast and perfect for lunch breaks, making it easy to enjoy a quick, flavorful meal. However, some concerns about food safety and the texture of pork intestines have been noted. Overall, Chao Shou Wang remains a popular spot for authentic Sichuan-style dishes.
