I traveled 45 mins from richmond for a birthday cake 🎂 and was so interested in the display of sweets I just had to ask for a recommendation of something else to go home with! I’m just a big fan of this bakery. The delivery drivers over the years (about 30)were always on time and very friendly. There was Leo who was always in a great mood and then jack( ?) who did play the piano and the accordion at my restaurant once in a while and sometimes even the owner Paolo checked, if customers were happy. The strawberry shortcake for our Goddaughter’s confirmation was soft, moist, and had just the right amount of sweetness. The frosting was creamy, not too heavy, which balanced well with the sponge. Overall, it was delicious and satisfying — perfect for any occasion!
