“A hidden gem, low key, cafe disguised in the industrial zone. It's difficult to come to this place and choose one single thing from the menu. Everything is so delicious with the authentic taste of Brazil. Not mention that everytime I go there I end up doing some small grocery shopping and taking some frozen ready meals. Everything is so good that makes me feel home. But there is one particular thing they make there that tastes even better than any of its kind I ever tried even in Brazil: the brigadeiro! They make them soft, light and not overpoweringly sweet, just the perfect recipe that you won't find anywhere else. Before going home after your meal, ask for their brigadeiro for the perfect dessert. Be prepared to end up ordering more than you planned for, you won't resist. Also, the food is made fresh, so the orders will take a while.“
“I was excited to hear that a Brazilian restaurant had opened in New Westminster. I went in today and I got some pastels but I'm confused because it's called "Brazilian street food", however all that's being sold are pastels in a few different flavours and 'cheese puffs'. There's no coxinhas, there's no Pao de queijo (cheese bread),picanha, or the ever so delicious brigadeiro. The staff are nice and while I have to choose between recommending or not recommending this place, I don't recommend that it's fantastic Brazilian food because they just sell pastels. however people should go and at least try it. I just wish the restaurant would broaden their menu or change the name to just pastels not "Street food"“
“We have been here several times before. It's simple but cozy and cheerful. In summer you can even sit outside. The servers are Brazilian:)Very friendly and good service. We had their Caipirinha there which we really like, they had been this time on the week side, we asked and they fixed it :)For food we shared their "spicy" Queijo Coalho dish, which we love. Then we had beef Stroganoff and Cumbuca Do Boteco.Their fries are very good :)The Queijo Coalho dish used to be better (maybe new chef?) but we love it spicy (Brazilian food is usually not), so we added some hot sauce;-)The beef Stroganoff used to have more and a better flavour, but maybe next time its back to where it was before. We love this place and love to support local restaurants and will be back! They also have often live music, like this night and it's great! (They have a surcharge of $6.- pp to support the musicians).Ps.: sorry forgot to take photos of the dishes, which looked good and like their photos in their menu :)Vegetarian options: They offer several vegetarian dishes.Parking: Park in the neighborhood side streets ;-)Wheelchair accessibility: Street level“
