We ordered and paid 1 month before my daughters birthday and ordered for take out, the day we are about to pick up the order they said they never knew we ordered to them and when I showed my receipt stating that I need to pick up that day that is only the time they believed me and rush up my order quickly to cook it. Very disappointed.

I order a lot through the website and tip generously for the delivery. Looks like they removed the tip option off the website. The driver showed up and yelled at me for not tipping, was extremely awkward and embarrassing. Used to order here pretty frequently, but after that experience never again.

We had an average dining experience at Burnaby Palace, but the server’s rude behaviour ruined it. After payment, a lady in a mask repeatedly demanded we add a tip, insisting it’s mandatory in Canada. Tipping is a choice, not an obligation. Very unprofessional and disappointing experience.

We’ve ordered from this place lots of times and been happy with it. They have always fit that sweet spot between authentic and westernized that I crave. But last night I ordered for takeout and was very disappointed. The ginger beef was like beef jerky wrapped in soft batter, the crispy noodles were not crisp, just way too salty, the spicy green beans were overcooked and not spicy, and the General Tso’s chicken was completely soggy. The whole meal seemed like it had been waiting for an hour in closed containers, but I picked it up right at the 20 minute time they had given me. Maybe they had it ready much sooner than they expected, and it all lost it’s texture while waiting but the flavour problems- using too much salt to compensate for lack of spice, tanginess, sweetness was very disappointing
