We’ve ordered from this place lots of times and been happy with it. They have always fit that sweet spot between authentic and westernized that I crave. But last night I ordered for takeout and was very disappointed. The ginger beef was like beef jerky wrapped in soft batter, the crispy noodles were not crisp, just way too salty, the spicy green beans were overcooked and not spicy, and the General Tso’s chicken was completely soggy.

I have eaten at Burnaby Palace many times so I know the food is very good. This was the first time I placed an online order for delivery and It went smoothly. The food was prepared exactly as I requested. I had asked a few items to only be mildly spicy and they were prepared perfectly! We ordered 6 dishes and all of them were fresh and delicious! Will definitely be ordering from them again if not dining in!
