Came here for 10am breakfast. Was craving centrury egg congee with pork liver. $11 was a bit overpriced in my opinion, but the congee was good. My wife paid $10 for her meal and she got twice as much food as me from another booth.

Lucky my wife shared one of her eggs and spam with me 😋

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Unbeatable value for just $13 and change!

Their Singapore Vermicelli is packed with fresh shrimp, BBQ pork, crisp veggies, and a flavorful curry kick. Huge portions, perfectly stir-fried with that irresistible “wok hei” (you can taste the fire)—served hot and fast.

You’ll spot old-school Hong Kong chefs working the woks in the back, so you know it’s the real deal. The turnover here is fast, which means fresh ingredients every time. Optional tipping, too!

💸 Tip: BRING CASH.

🥤 Drinks aren’t included, but honestly? Skip the overpriced meal combos at Kingspark (the yellow vendor across the way) —weak sour milk tea and almost $20 a plate? No thanks. Grab your meal here, then head to the food court for your favourite drink.

✨ Great food, great price, friendly staff—what more can you ask for?

Upstairs in food court of Crystal mall. Always filling. Had beef choy fun with veggies. A little on wet side. Had it again today. Lots of veggies. Have to try their chow mein. Fast service. Had beef brisket noodles today. Beef a bit tough. Today wife had sticky rice and happy. Came again for beef veggie chow fun. Ready in five minutes. A bit goopy but ok. Came again. We had beef chow fun, rice rolls and chicken chow mein. All delicious

Fung May Hong Kong Restaurant in Crystal Mall is a fantastic spot for authentic HK-style fast food. Their menu offers a great variety of delicious options, with highlights like their flavorful vegetarian fried rice and comforting, well-made congee. The food is served quickly, making it perfect for a casual meal or a quick bite. The restaurant captures the essence of classic Hong Kong flavors, offering both quality and affordability. Whether you’re craving a hearty meal or a light, satisfying dish, Fung May delivers a great dining experience. It’s a go-to place for tasty and authentic HK-style comfort food.

I get food from from this vendor whenever I visit the Crystal Mall. I have been eating here for years and have found the food and service to be very consistent so this review is based on years of patronage. It's the only place I know of in Burnaby that has rice claypot dishes. If you order a rice claypot you need to put a $5 deposit down that's returned once the clay pot is returned back to the counter. On this particular day I ordered P4 Shrimp and egg swirl chow fun (many pieces of nicely cooked shrimp) , N3 XO chicken fried udon (some family members found it didn't have enough flavour but others raved over it), P8 Vegetable & beef brisket chow mein (brisket was fairly tender), R1 Chinese mushroom & seafood on rice (plenty of toppings on rice and family members appreciated the soft broccoli). I feel this vendor provides great value for the food and it's the reason why we keep returning in addition to the owners being friendly and pleasant. I took photos of the menus as I found there haven't been any updated photos posted here lately of them.

Disgusting food. The cashier is super rude and my noodles were burnt and a weird moldy taste.

2024.06 I suddenly wanted to eat beef fried noodles with black pepper. The store said that it can be made crispy or non-crispy. You can choose from black bean or seasonal vegetables. It is quite flexible. Yummy.

Beef Bratwurst $9.5
Bratwurst tastes great
The rice roll skin is smooth and elastic
It’s just that the beef soda tastes a bit strong
I'm a girl, and a plate of rice rolls is quite filling.

Ordered take-out recently. Prices are pretty good given the amount of food you get and the food was mostly good.Pan fried rice rolls with xo sauce turned out well with nice wok hei. The thick Shanghai noodles were good too and had crunchy cabbage. Homestyle fried vermicelli was plentiful. The one thing which wasn't great was the beef brisket fried rice as the beef wasn't as tender as it could have been.
