“Local in Gastown at 3 Alexander Street We enjoyed sharing the generous vegetarian nachos with beans, grape tomatoes, and jalapenos, topped with feta and cheddar cheeses, accompanied by Pico de Gallo salsa and sour cream on the side. The twice-daily Happy Hour with friendly service is a delightful and affordable treat for locals and tourists in Gastown. $4 house lager, $5 always-on taps, and 50% off wine selection for an even better value, we'll definitely be back. “Chinatown may not be the first place you'd think to look for an Irish pub, but this one is well worth visiting. Service is fast and friendly, the food is great, and the selection of whiskeys and whiskies from around the world on offer is impressive. If you're hungry and unsure what to try, I recommend to you the curried fries: they're sweet, fluffy, and full of flavour.“

“Had an amazing lunch today at Sapperton District Taphouse. I ordered the House Salad with cajun chicken and my daughter had the Kung Pao Noodle Bowl. We both loved our meals! We also tried the Moscow Mule they have on tap and a pint of the Vertical Winter Ale from Tree (drank that too fast to take a pic, so good). We felt very comfortable the whole time. Lots of covid restrictions in place and we especially liked that our utensils came individually packed and sanitized. We found out this place is entirely locally owned and they have a cold beer & wine store inside!! We took home some Rock Creek Cider on our way out. We will definitely be coming back soon.“

“Went here for din just before our show at the Queen E. we had dynamite roll for appy and Baja fish tacos and Florida sandwich for our mains. Drinks before and after din were delicious and our server, Laura was awesome. So attentive and friendly. Thank you.“

“Typical pub style venue, with what I think are somebofbthe best wings in Burnaby, i.e. large, crispy outside, juicy inside (not those small wings many other places offer). For entertainment they have a pool table andbdart s that get well used. Also have Wednesday Trivia night, and Karaoke Thursday, Saturday and Sunday nights. If you want a decent pub night out with some entertainment, I would recommend!“
