Really nice location. Came here to celebrate my birthday and everyone was so attentive. Our waiter was very patient as it was our first time dining in this restaurant. Menu choice was a bit limited, but they tasted good! I ordered the new york steak while my friend ordered the duck breast. Portion was huge, the duck breast seems a little bit overcooked tho. My wife and I are really disappointed that the City of Burnaby and Horizons Restaurant on Burnaby Mountain could not come to an agreement for Horizons Restaurant to continue to operate their business after February, 2020.
My wife and I received a gift card for Horizons for Christmas and then just heard that they're closing for good in a couple of weeks, so we went for brunch today. It wasn't terribly busy when we got in, so we figured we'd get pretty decent service. We were wrong. We waited for 10 minutes to have our order taken.
