One of the best sushi restaurants in BC. Unlike most which are actually owned by Koreans, this place is truly Japanese. They have a high level of respect for the food they make. And, their mascot is a kappa, and I love kappas!
Their dinner set (sushi and sashimi) is great. Each person in my family gets every time we go. On special occasions, we make a deliberate effort to go out of our way and eat here.

I do not really like fish but the exception to that is quality. The quality of fish here is wonderful, does not feel like the ocean nut in your mouth. Highly recommended location, the pricing is very fair and the menu is large enough to provide you the the flexibility to splurge if you want to.
Staff are super friendly and quick to respond to your needs! Overall, I was impressed and highly recommend this gem.

Nonetheless, the delicious sushi, with options like the Special Assorted Sushi and the Unatama Roll (unagi and tamago), as well as the fresh assorted sashimi, make Isami Sushi a reliable choice for sushi enthusiasts in the Metrotown area. The restaurant also offers a convenient free parking lot behind the building, adding to its appeal. The food is clean and delicious.
