JINYA Ramen Bar - Amazing Brentwood

We had dinner at Jinya Ramen Bar last Mother’s Day and it was such a great experience. I really appreciate that they offer a kids’ meal—my daughter loved it, especially the complimentary ice cream that came with it. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was also very pleasant and welcoming. We truly enjoyed our visit and will definitely come back again.

FOOD: Ordered the Original 2010 ramen, Aburi sushi, Kids meal and French fries. Ramen has good flavour and decent size. The wife enjoyed her Aburi, but they do not carry any wasabi. We suggest they should have some powdered wasabi to mix for customers if requested. The kids meal was surprisingly really good! It came with a decent size of rice, ramen, and karage with unsalted French fries. French fries are always a nice side. Sauces were good, fries could be less salty.

SERVICE: Service was great, all the guys were attentive when needed something.

ATMOSPHERE: Good amount of seating, they have patio seating, AC is ice cold, eating area and washrooms were clean, nice natural lighting.

Overall, nice ramen place to have if you are local to Brentwood area. They do not take reservations.

One of the best bowls of ramen I’ve ever had. The flavours were rich, natural, and incredibly comforting. I ordered the Shrimp Wonton ramen with a side of Pork Chashu and fresh garlic that you crush yourself — such a great touch.

I was working in the tower across the street on a Saturday and was sick as a dog, but still had to show up. Honestly, this ramen felt life-saving. Hot, fresh, and exactly what I needed. If you’re looking for authentic, comforting ramen, this place absolutely delivers.

All the food we ordered was so good, and the staff who first served us were very kind and welcoming.

However, when I got up to go to the restroom, I asked a staff member named Aiza(?) for the bill and a takeout box. She responded with, “I‘ll bring it, you just sit.” Although her words sounded polite on the surface, her tone felt slightly bossy and irritated, which made me feel like she was annoyed that I was standing.

Other than that, everything else was good.
Definitely coming back!

Food is VERY VERY salty. The ramen was near inedible. Had to dip it on hot water to get it lest salty. DO NOT order the chefs special ramen. Music is WAY too loud. DO NOT recommend. Literally instant ramen is better than this. I expected more from a 4.6 rating restaurant. Seriously, way too salty - trust me you do not want to try it.

Had lunch at JINYA, my first time at their Brentwood location. They have some vegetarian and vegan options, and a good variety of ramen and other dishes (salads, small plates, aburi oshi sushi, bowls, mini tacos). I had the JINYA Tonkotsu Original 2010 ($22.80) and substituted the seasoned egg for corn. It was a nice bowl of ramen, a salty but rich pork broth with tender chashu. The standout was the extra thick noodles, which had a perfect chew. Service was friendly and attentive. Would return in the future!

My absolute favourite place for lunch. Iza, Mao, Hikaru and the crew always take care of me and the food is delicious. Try the spicy Chicken ramen!

Tried Spicy V Ramen best option to go for vegeterian. It was so amazing I finished all of it under 15 mins. Loved their food.
