Such a cute spot and absolutely delicious food and drinks!! My partner and I came here for a quick snack of strawberry jasmine tea, the galaxy drink, churro mochi donut, and tiramisu! For sure one of the best tiramisus I’ve ever eaten.

Really busy location! Would like to visit again in morning, to enjoy leisure time (and get a table!) Love the atmosphere and vibes of the cafe♡ only tried their parfaits, their matcha soft serve is like a matcha latte flavor, sakura was light flavor.

The place seems understaffed. I went there on a busy Sunday and they looked overwhelmed with the amount of guests in the cafe. The coffee was good and the snacks are unique. However, I wish there was a decaf option as well as less (or no) single-use plastic for the dine in drinks.

The food and atmosphere is great, but they seem severely understaffed (as someone who worked in food service). When it was busy (1pm), I waited about 15 minutes just to order. It's honestly a miracle that the few workers running the shop can manage the lunch rush at all.

Love the environment! So many free mangas to read when you’re there. They have mangas in English, Japanese, and Chinese. Foods are great as well. Love their omurice! The waffle wasn’t hot when it was served so a bit disappointed ?

They don't have any vegetarian dishes on the menu, but the lady offered me very kindly some variations and finally I ordered a regular rice (without chicken) with omelette and curry sauce that was delicious!I also took a bubble tea with coconut and mango that was also really good! They made a mistake and made the dish with a different sauce and as soon as the lady who took the order saw it, she took the dish and asked in the kitchen for a new one very quickly.I'll come back for sure!

This place is awesome! I’ve been there a couple of times and they always greet you with a kind and loving smile. They manga variety blowed my mind! It is a perfect place to get some coffee, dessert and read. From time to time they have some one playing the piano, and it makes the experience even better.I love that they also have outside furniture, that’s why I have come back when I walking my dog.It is conveniently close to a skytrain station, which makes ir perfect to wait for someone there if necessary.Magnificent decoration and atmosphere!

Japanese cafe with very cute aesthetics and vibes. There's a large bookshelf filled with manga in English and Japanese. The food was fairly good as well but not as good as other Japanese restaurants with similar food.We got the oyako omurice and honey butter chicken waffles. I give 4/5 stars for both. The sakura dessert and drink we got were very good however so I think their biggest strength is desserts and drinks. They seem understaffed as lining up to order at the counter took much longer than it should have. It's basically all self-serve service but with made-to-order food (I guess exactly like a typical cafe).Parking: It's paid street parking in front, but there's some free 2 hour parking on some side streets nearby.

It is a quaint little cafe. It has a wall with manga books that you are free to read.Took a long time to get the food - around 30 minutes and it is not even busy.We had a matcha latte which is ok, matcha parfait (contains matcha ice cream which is coarse, pearls, a cookie) which is not too sweet and is okay and matcha chocolate waffle (huge, with ice cream, whipped cream and cornflakes) and tastes good. I liked that they are not overly sweet but I don’t find the food we had as special.

This place was an absolute stunner! The food, ambience, service, everything was a 10/10. We went for the sakura event, and the food was delicious! Highly recommend the Sakura-Aide while it’s still available!

KI’ing up for some sweets…Decided to check this place out to see if it can satisfy my sweet tooth after a so so lunch. It is a compact little place with half a dozen of tables and chairs, extra seatings along the window, counter and kitchen to the back. And with signs posted at every table saying it’s a notebook or laptop free zone… lmao!! (Yeah no pretendous studying or working here, there’s Tinder for that). Here were the sweets I ordered;1. Melona. Nice little melon slush, not overly sweet so that’s refreshing for a hot day.2. Sakura yogurt mousse. Tasty little drink for the Sakura lovers.3. Sakura parfait. Nice little parfait, ingredients blended together nicely but I found the matcha ice cream could be a bit smoother, perhaps a finer matcha powder?4. Macarons 3pc pack (raspberry, pistachio, passion fruit). Pretty basic but decently okay.I can see that this place gets busy during the warmer weather seasons especially when it’s located close to the Royal Oak skytrain station and by all the new condos.Service wise, it was okay and pretty basic. And of course a little improvement in this department wouldn’t hurt cause it might bring back a few extra repeats during the winter season. The food was overall pretty decent. It had a little bit of everything from drinks to desserts and to some waffle combos. Almost reminded me a smaller version of La Foret up the streets?3.5 stars overall
