It's actually quite hard to find a pan-fried (dry) hotpot restaurant in the area, so I'm very glad that I found this place. Their "spicy" level is actually very spicy, very authentic, because as a spicy food aficionado, it's very difficult to satisfy my palate. I've been here a couple of times, and the taste of the food is always very good and the service is always very pleasant. The food portion is also very satisfying. With steaming hot white rice, one large hotpot can serve up to three people. The place doesn't look really fancy, but trust me, the food won't disappoint you.

food was delicious, price was fair, and the owner was very kind and caring
Not too many places sell dry hot pot so this was a good dup to the king pin in richmond. The food is just slightly more expensive than richmond and it cures the crave without going to richmond. We shared a small pot and added 2 extra toppings. Got dumplings to help us de-spicy but i would just get rice next time. Mild is the lowest spice and it is pretty spicy but that's just the charm of dry hot pot.

The food was really good, and the owner was super friendly and kind. She was particularly kind to my parents. She offered us excellent service and the food was very authentic. ?
Really bad service, I just want a glass of hot water, the waitress seems really impatient and she even said “It’s so hot outside and you want to drink hot water?”The portion of food are also very small.
Surprised to see this place has bad reviews. Maybe the portions are really small for takeout? I’ve only eaten in the restaurant, and I find the portions fine. My wife and I will usually spend $55 for two people, and have a bit of food leftover to take home. Food tastes really good, flavourful with enough spices but not oily. The owner lady is also nice, but I think it takes a couple visits for her to warm up.
I've been here a couple times and it can get lil pricey if you get carried away with the add ons but the portions have always been good in my experience. In the pot it doesn't look like a lot but we always have leftovers and as you eat you realize how much it is (aka it takes forever to make a dent in the portion) . The owner is really nice and the food has always been great!
Lots of flavour and spice, interesting Chinese pepper used that added a special touch to the food. Ordered mild and was happy with the spice level.
Should’ve read the google reviews before ordering.Very very SMALL quantity, less than half box. I spent $36 and get this regular size malaxiangguo (I added extra quail eggs which cost $6.74 and there are 7 eggs in total, so it means $1 each?)Also there is NO rice included.Taste is ok, but the quantity doesn’t worth the price at all, really disappointed. The $36 meal looks like a $6 meal, honestly. First try and not gonna try second time.
The food was unique and delicious. The two of us shared big pot with a couple of sides and couldn’t finish it.

BE AWARE! Food portion is so small. Will definitely NOT come back again
The lady was very polite and the food was delicious. She was surprised to see a couple of gringos ordering frog and loving it!
Super tasty food (especially tentacles) and friendly service
We ordered the Mala Xiangguo, it was tasty and good amount of spiciness! We loved it!
I paid $40 Cash for this very small portion dish, not worthy the price !!!
