Bad vibe, shop layout is worse than the one in Downtown. We ordered 2 meals for adult 2 happy meals for kids. The staff forgot to give us ketchup and the UNOs of the happy meal. Felt like scammed.

I stopped by McDonald’s for a quick meal and it hit the spot. When I walked in the space felt familiar and easy to navigate, with clear signs and a simple menu that made ordering fast.
I ordered a burger, fries, and a drink. The burger was warm and tasty, and the fries were crispy and well salted. Everything tasted just like I expected, and it was ready sooner than I thought it would be.

We frequent this branch but prefer Mcbride or New West as the staff here are grumpy and rude. They always forget to give you sauces. This branch used to be our favorite branch but the huge decline on customer service is just disappointing. The owner should read this and reflect about all the complaints.
Today at 12:35 pm Jan 24, we ordered dine for 2 big macs with the value nuggets and a mcdouble value meal. I ordered from the kiosk and made all the custom orders specific.
We get our order and we have no nugget sauce at all and the burger was a hamburger instead of a mcdouble. It was not even busy when we ordered. My son came up to the counter to ask for sauces and immediately he was answered you have to pay. I came up and this older lady Manager or Supervisor with glasses comes up to me and asks what they missed. She had a grumpy like non friendly face. I said we dont have chicken nugget sauces and i also mentioned about the burger. She responded let me see the receipt i obliged. She grabbed sauces but before she even gave it to me she stopped and checked our table if we ordered nuggets. Like common lady we are not gonna lie about a $0.90 cent sauce!!! And then she grabs the burger i opened on my hand again it was already open coz she wanted to see if i was not lying about a mcdouble!!! She had this dace like she was irritated. I showed her the mistake they made and she gives it back to Gagan who prepared it and literally scolds her infront of me. She kept scolding her coworkers saying common guys whats taking you so long. Like this is how you treat your coworkers. The manager did not apologize and handed me the same burger and added everything else. I dont know if she took food safe but you cannot introduce an open package burger in your clean counter. She needs customer service training or at the very least courtesy to customers.
Like if you work in a place you need to come and somehow like what you do. Like if you don’t want to deal with people don’t work in such a place. Do better!

I wanted to shout out Zubai, who helped me at the drive-thru on Jan 22nd around 3:15 PM.
I’ve been to this location many times, but this was easily the best experience I’ve had here. Zubai was incredibly polite, efficient, and had a genuine, upbeat attitude that you don't often see. It’s rare to get service this sharp and friendly at a drive-thru. Management has a great asset in him and I hope he gets the credit he deserves! ✨️

After telling her I want a hamburger with only ketchup, she asks, Cheese burger or hamburger? I say hamburger AGAIN. The tag says hamburger, but it's this a hamburger? Even if it was a cheese burger, the instructions say ketchup only. Why is this so hard?

Double check your order everytime , this location always makes a mistake with every one of my order. Their accuracy % with my order has been less than 50%... Either a missing item or a wrong item. Every time... It's very frustrating. I shouldn't have to check the accuracy of my order.

If there is a McDonald’s on earth that is in its most horrible condition then this is it! The atmosphere here is like a sweatshop. Most despicable setting with tables and chairs scattered about. And this is right in the heart of new builds of Burnaby Kingsway. Unless you want to eat with your eyes closed then skip this shack!
