Minoa’s was a Family run authentic Greek restaurant run by Georgia, the family matriarch and her kids. The best Greek food in town. Sadly COVID lockdowns took their toll and their business never recovered its clientele, combined with increased operating costs. Georgia, so many happy memories of fine evenings at Minoa’s. Enjoy your retirement!

Not sure how this restaurant ranks as highly as it does in Burnaby, but I think part of it is nostalgia, as I know it’s been around for decades. My wife and I went here several times when we first met and got married about 30 years ago, but I’m not sure what’s happened since. Or, perhaps my memory is faulty. Ordered food for 40 people (with spanakopita and vegetarian dishes). There was more than enough food and everything was tasty! Lamb souvlaki was a great hit. Thank you Anna for taking care of us!
