The fish quality is very good. I first enter and compare the price to other sushi restaurants, the price look a little bit higher. However I was surprised by the quality of the food. The fish is very fresh and the presentation is very good and the taste is excellent balance. It total worth the price. Will revisit with my friends for sure.

Ordered assorted sushi combo for pickup 3pm on a Friday. Miso soup was pretty bad, sushi was mediocre.

Most highly ranked sushi places tend to be about the same in terms of quality of sushi. This place seems to be a cut above that while offering reasonably priced sushi.Service was great, and atmosphere felt like a normal sushi joint.

Ordered delivery via uber eats. Ordered 4 tuna 3 salmon 1 negitoro 1 takoyaki and 1 naebeyaki udon. Sounded like enough food bit it was not.The naebeyaki udon was $19 but what we got should be charged no more than $10. The soup was flavourless and watery, the noodles were soggy, the three sad pieces of chicken was dry.Giving two stars for fresh tuna and because it's probably hard to run a sushi place nowadays with soaring fish prices and hard to find employees.

The beef yakisoba I got was a bit too oily for me, but the taste is good. Overall, decent food, decent prices, and the waiter who greeted me was very polite.

Quality food with decent price. Ordered spicy salmon sashimi and the fish tastes fresh. Friendly customer service.

Decent food, decent price, but wasn’t wowed. But with that said, the tempura is fried to perfection. The pork katsu coating was fried well too, although the pork itself was a tad dry. Clean comfortable interior, attentive service, and ample parking.

First time coming in, didn't know what to expect as I was just looking for some sushi to eat around the area. Was pleasantly surprised. Wasn't busy when we came in, so no long wait for the food. Food tasted fresh, which I was very happy with. Would definitely come back!

Honestly....the food isn't bad but it is quite pricy for the quality and quantity. They are so stingy with the avocados! Just look at the California roll I've had...literally a sliver of it.Service wasn't the greatest either...I guess it's because they only had one server. But it was slow even during downtime.Overall I feel that there are definitely better options in terms of Japanese food at North Rd.

This is our favourite local sushi place. Great food, great service, and the perfect quick meal to pick up after a busy day. The spicy tuna roll is always a hit!

I’ve been a regular here since they opened, and pretty much always get their Chirashi don. All the experiences have been generally positive, until my most recent take out experience. I track my macros/calories quite closer and weigh all my food. My experience with their Chirashi dons in the past have been that they are generous with their portions (between 375-400 grams of fish). With my most recent order, the quantity of fish totalled only 205 grams. When I called the restaurant to inquire about the drastic difference, their response was because “the chef gave you more expensive fish, which is why there is less”. Two pieces of hamachi do not justify half the usual portion of fish, everything else was standard and not “more expensive”. I was extremely disappointed with that response. Not sure I’ll be coming back, which is unfortunate as they have been my local go to sushi joint.

Very quiet, music was good. Appetizers were hot (we got edamame and miso soup). All the rolls tasted pretty good but I don’t recommend anything with salmon in it, too chewy and it was almost room-temperature warm.

I ordered the Cali roll, dynamite, and yam tempura rolls. I wish sushi was always this good. It was fresh, warm, put together well, and just delicious. I don’t even know what makes sushi this good but this order was steps above other places. Cant wait to eat here again. Please keep up the quality! Thanks!
