From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality that set the tone for a delightful meal.We had the pleasure of being served by OM, whose exceptional service and efficiency made our dining experience even more memorable. Despite our time constraints, OM ensured that our orders were promptly taken and served, allowing us to enjoy our delicious meals without any rush.Speaking of the meals, I must commend the culinary team for crafting such delectable dishes. I ordered the breakfast poutine, and it was an absolute delight. The combination of flavors and textures was simply amazing, and it left me craving for more. My friend thoroughly enjoyed their breakfast Smashburger as well, and we couldn't stop raving about how delicious everything was.Overall, our visit to pür & simple exceeded our expectations in every aspect. Absolute amazing service. I ordered an omelett for take out in which I asked for no peppers, I got back to our hotel and there were peppers in the omelett, I called them right away and they were so apologetic. They remade my food and gave me a drink of my choice for the troubles! I don't see a lot of amazing service anymore but the gentleman that helped me really proved that good service is still around! Thank you for doing such an amazing job! Keep it up!

My recent visit to pur & simple was really enjoyable. Their new dish kickin kimchi bene is toooo yumm. i would really suggest this place to give it a try. They do have tasty waffles and french toast as well.

BEWARE OF FAKE 5 STAR REVIEWS!Apologies for the lack of pictures, I wasn't planning on writing a review until the server came around with the bill - she gave us a small card with a QR code and wrote her name in Sharpie. She said that if we wrote a 5-star review on Google AND specifically called her out by name in the post (which was written on the card), she would waive the coffee off our bill.I was pretty surprised because I've been here once before around the time they opened, but this happened only on the 2nd time I visited a few weeks ago. I'm not sure if this is a regular restaurant tactic, but I've been to places that would give incentives for an 'honest review', which I don't mind, but this was quite blatant demanding that it MUST be 5-star AND we must use her name in the post.Story time aside, I'll also give an honest review of the food:RAY’S EXTRAVAGANZA ($19.50): Pretty decent Hollandaise sauce, the potatoes were not as good as the first time I came (it was a bit soft). Very filling as it's a huge portion of potatoes lining the skillet with some bacon, ham, sausage, peppers and tomatoes on top. 6.5/10NORWEGIAN BENEDICT ($22.25): My second time getting this, and it's pretty standard, you can't really go wrong with it. Again, lots of squishy potatoes, smoked salmon and I like the capers on top. I got spicy Hollandaise, which isn't really spicy. Get some hot sauce on the side if you'd like a real kick. 7/10WAFFLE & FRUITS ($17.75): Absolutely horrible, the waffle was very soggy and doughy. Came with a handful or fruit such as blueberries, bananas, and strawberries. Very disappointing waffle, probably the worst one I've had ever. 1/10The wait wasn't too bad (20min) on a weekend around 11am. I like the location as it's right next to Metrotown, so there's plenty of parking around. The atmosphere is quite nice, and large washrooms. There's not a whole lot of nice brunch places in Burnaby, and this place is just okay to save you the wait. It's hard for me to recommend this place with the forced 5-star review experience, and mediocre food.Parking: free parking inside metrotown or Station SquareWheelchair accessibility: Large automated washrooms
