Chronically understaffed so service is curt and efficient. Food is always great and plentiful, and goes great with their dipping sauce mix. Tremendous value for what you get. Love their fruit tea! I usually order the chicken hotpot and cook it at heat level #2 for optimum tenderness. Reservations recommended.

I am not a loyal customer but I try to come here once a while. Recently I was deeply disappointed by the price increase and the volume decrease. The first picture was taken on 2024/10, which we are amazed by the restaurant provided a good portion of food, and some what reasonable price. However, a recent visit we are shocked by the price increase. 2024/10, we got 12 piece of meat and around 20 cad, and 2025/05 the meat come to 9 pieces and the price when up to 25. Which the experience is disappointed and I don’t think I would come here again any time soon.

Update: honestly meat portion is too small now. Think I'd choose bigway with more meat instead. Still tastes good but definitely not as worth it.

Reasonably price place for 1-2 people to come for individual hot pot and you don't mind the plain original broth. Combo includes a drink and soft serve.
If you aren't needing special flavor hot pot broth, it is a nice place to eat here with decent amount of vegetables and protein. Free soft serve with a black, green or fruit tea if ordering combo. Soft serve flavors change all the time.
You can add on other stuff such as Taiwanese snacks but I think the combo can easily fill you up. I see a few people packed up their veggies to cook another day.
They can accommodate a family of 4 or 5 but I think it's a nice casual place for solo or couple to eat here.
Free street parking. Either park on Kingsway or park by the residential.

Good hotpot for the price, especially if you’re looking for individual servings. Only gripe I had was they put the raw prawn on the veggies. Fine if you cook it, but a food safe risk. Typical service on these places. Wasn’t expecting much, but wasn’t bothered by it either.

The food is really good taste like hot pot when I was in Taiwan I came with 7 people 3 of them had to get a different table but overall the experience was good there a lot of options for meat lover or vegetarian people the service here is good they always come by and ask how you are doing in my opinion is it worth the money yes it is even it’s a little bit more then other hot pot but you get your own pot so you don’t have to share and that’s what I like
Parking: It’s really hard to find parking sometimes you get lucky sometime you don’t some time it’s a far walk
