The broth tasted like fish - and it was chicken pho. They put a quail egg in it, which I did not order. The whole thing just tasted off - I will not be ordering this again. The tofu was crispy and goodSpring roll was over friedChicken wing sauce has a fishy flavor as well...

Amazing broth!! The best pho I've had yet. Not super busy place but the food is quick and delicious! The price is fair for what you get, they don't skimp on

Delicious lemon grass chicken banh mi. Perfect French bread bun with plenty of tender chicken and veg. Served with hot jasmine tea by a lovely server on a cool day. Couldn’t have asked for more.

I always stop by when I'm craving pho and when I feel too lazy to cook dinner. Delicious every time, very friendly service, and extremely clean and inviting atmosphere. If you enjoy a big bowl of pho, I definitely recommend this location.

So they recently renovated and it's very contemporary. However, they no longer hold that unique status of having BOTH sushi and Vietnamese cuisine. It is only Vietnamese now... Kind of a bummer especially since half our family wanted japanese and the other half didn't... Cambodian Noodle Dry.. Really yummy. Their pho and rice dishes were OK... But small. Like I mean... Their large I thought was a small... And my protein on my rice is half the size I normally get from other places... Too bad... Their old concept worked but I understand why they did it (owner explained) - but shrinking portion sizes that much, so that 3 dishes after tax was $57 was quite hefty... I was still hungry after I ate my entire rice dish... That says a lot.

Japolo is a great place to eat or take out. I have been supporting this local business for years and always recommend Japolo. Sit at the bar and meet Jackie. He is allot of fun to chat with

With all their location , this the only location have both Vietnamese and Japanese dishes , very interesting concept , they been in business in Burnaby for long time (2008 ? ) small husband and wife operation , not a place for you sit and enjoy , just a quick eat in and out homey little restaurant , my Pho is very average and the broth not much of strong beef flavour , ( over power with fish sauce and spicy powder ) little oily too but steaming hot , also I order their 3 rolls combo , freshly make , nicely done , I am not in the mood for sushi in a Vietnamese restaurant and beside the sushi station very small not very appealing , over all , not a bad place to grab a bite . nothing to complain , I am happy and full . affordable price .
