Disappointed af. Don’t really recommended it… My friend said she went there like two years ago and remembered it was so good. But today. We all got SO disappointed. The flavor was not really milk or anything, too bland. Nothing like the picture in the menu cuz they didn’t put the syrup or fruit sauce on the top. So it was just soft milk ice cream, with some small pieces of mango (I ordered the coco mango). And got so disappointed by the appearance. Mine didn’t have the mango sauce… I was excited cuz it was my first time trying it… but mine definitely didn’t worth $8 cad. And the base milk soft ice cream taste less of a milk than McDonald. I would have better buy $2 McDonald’s soft serve vanilla cone, by a cheaper price and yummier.
Very soft and flavourful - they have a variety of options as well! The store is well organized and clean, cute spot to stop by for dessert. Definitely will come back to try other flavours
This is my favorite place for a beautiful organic soft serve ice-cream! Very smooth, and creamy and knowing that it's organic makes it the best option! We tried the brown sugar and caramel!

First time and won’t be the last. Delicious!!! Made with organic Avalon milk, tons of flavours to please everyone’s taste preferences..
The ice cream was just okay, nothing special for a $7 soft serve. But the real issue was how filthy the restaurant was. Part of the seating area was blocked off and being used as storage. The floors looked like they hadn’t been swept or mopped in days, and the tables and walls were visibly and physically sticky. It honestly felt like the kind of place that’s one day away from a health inspection shutdown. Even the paper towel holder in the kitchen area was barely hanging on, taped in place with green painter’s tape. This was the first Soft Peaks location where I genuinely wanted to leave the moment I sat down.
Soft Peaks recently opened a location across from Metrotown carrying their signature organic soft serve ice cream with cool toppings. Their new location is actually quite spacious inside and I was surprised at how quiet it was (I think I was the only one there during my visit and it was a day before the first day of summer).
I opted for the Green Forest ($6 for a small) with an organic milk/dark chocolate twist (love that you can specify the type of soft serve ice cream), dusted with matcha powder, topped with sweet red beans, and drizzled with condensed milk.
While it’s been a good three years since my last visit to Soft Peaks in Gastown, I have to admit that I’ve missed their soft serve and this is a great addition to the Metrotown area. It’s a bit expensive for soft serve ice cream but it’s worth it to splurge every now and then.
Update: November 2024 - I can't believe it's been 4 years since I last visited Soft Peaks. When I heard they had a black sesame soft serve special, I had to come visit. Midnight mochi crunch, organic white grain brown rice crisps, brown sugar syrup, kinako powder, and shiratama mochi - it was quite good.

Everything was great. They probably need more chairs and tables but overall lots of flavor options and good ice cream

The pistachio ice cream is tasteless. I have no idea how they come up with such an awful flavour.

The most overrated ice cream and a very underwhelming taste.

Just as good as Costco soft serve!
The taste is not so great. The size is much smaller than it is shown in the picture. It was pricey. I had tiramisu and espresso but it was all powder really. Not recommended.
