I had some of the WORST bbt in my life here and that says a lot since I think even TNT bbt is better than this 🤢🤮🤮 I ordered a roasted milk tea and it is absolutely nasty. I'm not sure if the person screwed up my order but I ordered a 100 % sugar level drink and I legitimately don't think they added any in my drink. I'm not usually one to complain but it took all of my mental strength to finish this absolutely rancid abomination of a drink Do NOT recommend unless you feel like testing your tolerance

I visited this store today specifically for the Labubu event, but the experience was quite disappointing.
I ordered a coconut water drink and asked for no ice due to health reasons. The staff told me that without ice, the cup couldn’t be filled. I politely asked if they could top it up with either more coconut water or water—I was even very clear that I didn’t mind any impact on the taste and would take full responsibility. However, the staff insisted it was against store policy and were very reluctant to help. I spent over 5 minutes calmly explaining that I simply wanted a full drink, yet they still refused until I asked them to double-check with the person making the drink.
Eventually, they agreed to fill it with more coconut water, but the entire situation felt unnecessarily rigid and unfriendly.
Additionally, the Labubu campaign was misleading. It wasn’t clearly stated that you had to enter a draw first in order to even have a chance to get Labubu.
Overall, I came with excitement but left very disappointed. The service and communication need serious improvement.

I bought two cups of milk tea and asked for a tray, but was told I had to pay an extra 25 cents for it. That’s ridiculous. I already paid for the drinks — charging extra for a simple tray is unreasonable and left me really frustrated. Terrible customer experience

I never knew bubble tea can ever taste bad in metro Vancouver…but I was wrong. How could matcha milk tea taste fishy?? Had to throw it out because I didn’t think it was safe to drink ?. Pearls consistency was average. The lady at the cash register could barely understand English and was disengaged the entire transaction. Tables and chairs seem like they were still pushed aside for covid and have never been cleaned since. Got my drink to go.

I rarely leave reviews, but unfortunately, this is my first negative one. My fiancé and I visited Sun Tea tonight, October 4, 2024, around 7-7:15 PM. We were excited to try this location, smiling as we looked at the menu. However, the experience quickly became disappointing due to the attitude of the cashier.
While I was looking at the menu, I asked the cashier a few questions, but he seemed uninterested and visibly annoyed. I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt, thinking he might be tired so it’s okay.
The first question I asked was which category of drinks could be substituted with a milk alternative. He said "fresh milk" in a tone that made it clear he was irritated. Again, I let it go, understanding he might be having a rough day.
The second question I asked was whether they could make drinks in the fresh milk category hot, since the menu didn't specify, although I saw hot cups available. He simply replied, "No, we don't make hot drinks."
When it came time to order, I asked for a Sago Taro Fresh Milk with oat milk. He said, "No, we don’t have that," and then looked at his co-workers and laughed. They all laughed…. He probably thought we wouldn’t notice… If Drink was not available, I wished they marked it as unavailable or sold out, so I found this reaction inappropriate and upsetting.
Feeling uncomfortable, I decided to order something else and chose the Sugar Pearl Matcha with oat milk. It was clear to me that the cashier noticed my change in tone, as his attitude suddenly improved. He even offered, "Would you like to make that hot?" I replied, "But you said you can't make it hot, right? So no, it's okay."
The Hastings location has far better customer service.

Staff was too occupied with mobile orders to pay attention to the questions my fiancé had and even went as far as asking if she wanted the things that he said were not possible/available when it came time to finalizing our orders. He came off blunt and uninviting.
If there is something on your menu that is not available; it might be a good idea to let the customer know ahead of time or make it obvious that they are out of stock/don’t make a specific item. Instead of looking at your coworkers and laughing.

I got the Fleshy Mango Slush with Coconut Milk. Fresh mangos with coconut milk, jelly, pomelo, and sago! What a treat. The mango tastes ripe and balances out the creaminess of the coconut milk. 50% sugar was perfect for me. There's a lot of seating at this location, but be cautious of the street parking and sticky tables inside...

Coconut Pudding Mango Coconut Milk Large $7.40 - I got it half ice, but I got it lukewarm. The mango part was very good, but I did not taste and coconut at all, not the milk and not the pudding.
Mega Fleshy Mango Slush with coconut milk $10.95 - Was very good, but came with sago (not too sure why), but also with coconut milk that didn't taste like coconut milk.
Mega Watermelon Slush $10.95 - was slushy and very refreshing.
Prices were reasonable for what you get, but I've had better. Next time I might come back for their fruit teas.
Parking was easy. They had a parking lot that's hidden away.
