My family has been loyal customers to this bakery for DECADES. We absolutely adored this bakery with our whole hearts as it reminded us of the generations of our family who have come here. We would always get the mocha cake for our birthdays, it was delicious. In march, we placed an order for the mocha cake for April 1, approx 1 week before pick up. There was no confusion over the phone or anything; very straight forward. Once we arrived to pick it up, the cake was no where to be found.. meaning my mother went without a birthday cake. They didn’t offer us a discount for an already made cake, not remake the cake, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! I called to complain and to figure out this situation and the manager said she would be in touch to let me know what went wrong.. that was beginning of April, it is now June as I am writing this and no phone call or follow up or anything. This bakery has gone down hill so quickly, ever since they almost shut down, the quality has changed significantly as well as taste and price considering the downhill course of their quality. I am very disappointed in this bakery, the employees and the management and I will personally not return for anything, including cakes. I suggest you exercise caution at this bakery as they cannot handle a simple task of making a cake NOR tracking down the employee who messed up and take responsibility for their actions. We have been loyal customers for a very, VERY long time and have spent an unimaginable amount of money at this bakery and this is why I am so disappointed. Shame on you guys.

I ordered the birthday cake from Value Bakery and it was perfect—beautifully decorated, super fresh, and absolutely delicious. Everyone loved it! Highly recommend for special occasions.

Since I was a child, my grandmother used to buy me birthday cakes from this bakery every year. Unfortunately, with a new owners, the cakes are not the same. The black forest cakes have less cherries are not covered in sprinkles, and the cream is not the same. It is also half the size and I think the price is increased. They changed the fancy boxes, but the quality and taste of the cake is a fraction of what it used to be.

A huge thank you to Maria, who did such a fantastic job bringing our vision to life. She was kind, attentive, and clearly passionate about her work. Every detail, from the design to the flavors, was spot on and truly added to the joy of our special day.

This young girl that just clocked in at 4:50pm on May 19th definitely needs an attitude check. She was extremely rude and gave sass when I asked about how picking pastries work at the valley. I love their treats but too bad I left with a bad taste in my mouth from the service. If I saw her again I would definitely ask for someone else’s help.

Had an experience here that is worth sharing. I ordered a cake for my daughter's 21st birthday for a big group of family and friends. Somehow the person who took the order from me on the phone put down the wrong pickup date - and that is despite the fact that I called them AND also followed up my call with a visit to the store. Nevertheless the pickup date was somehow entered wrong, and I was shocked and very upset when I showed up to pick up the cake, only to find out that it wasn't even made.
Thankfully, and somehow by some miracle, they managed to still create the cake I ordered, to my specifications at the last minute. They asked that I give them another couple of hours (which luckily I could) and I came back and picked up my perfect cake. :) The staff was lovely and understanding and I can't explain just how much I appreciated the lengths they went through to make this happen for me. Just wanted to say a huge thank you to Valley Bakery for showing me that the happiness and satisfaction of their clients is still a priority for them - they restored my faith in people and also brightened my day at a time that was already a little challenging for me. And on top of all this, the cake tasted AMAZING! THANK YOU! :)

Got 6 different pieces of cake from there, only two turned out edible. The rest was smelling like a dirty socks. Buttercream is extremely fat and not fresh. Wouldn’t recommend this place for dessert!

A few times I have had the pleasure of being served by Wendy and I want to mention that she is probably the kindest most welcoming customer service person I have ever come across. I started going there because I had one of their Pecan rolls once and got addicted to it. Then went several times just to buy the pecan rolls and usually get cinnamon rolls and danish too. But since last 4 months their quality of Pecan rolls and Cinnamon buns have drastically reduced. Pecan rolls is more bread than pecans and fillings and not crispy anymore. Cinnamon rolls also is more bread than fillings. The size is also 3/4th of what it used to be. Maybe they are cost cutting or maybe they changed the chef. Who knows. But finally stopped going there. Maybe will start if the old quality comes back.
