We came here earlier this week for Tratt Tuesday and was served by Vladimir. He was an awesome server, very friendly and made us laugh with all his jokes. He was very attentive and checked in frequently without us trying to grab his attention, despite how hectic Tuesdays can be. I love coming to Trattoria, the food is always good but Vladimir was exceptional and we left dinner very impressed with his service. Because of him, we love Trattoria and Tratt Tuesdays even more. Thanks Vladimir!

Walked across the street from my hotel and found an incredible Italian restaurant here in Burnaby. Trust me when I say you will not be disappointed. The food is incredible and the service is even better. I had the seafood risotto and it rivaled those that I have had in Italy. Carmella, the manager is so attentive and is constantly walking the restaurant, checking on the guests and you can tell that she cares about every customer and their dining experience. Service is off the charts! I will certainly be back!

What a spectacular evening at The Trattoria on Barnaby! Great vibe - but not so loud that you can’t hear each other!! Stunning service from Steve, who was engaging, knowledgeable and an outstanding host!! We also were fortunate enough to meet Micheal, one of the owners, who made us very welcome! I had the Braised Short Rib and vegetables! Tender, succulent…amazing! My wife enjoyed the Spaghetti Meatballs with creamy truffle sauce … absolutely brilliant!!

The food is exceptional—each dish bursts with authentic Italian flavors. The antipasto and pasta platter are standout features allowing guests to try a variety of culinary delights! Equally impressive is the service - the staff is attentive and knowledgeable. From the moment we walked in to the final course, the experience was seamless and enjoyable! I highly recommend Trattoria Burnaby for anyone seeking top-notch Italian cuisine and impeccable service. It's a true gem and make sure you try the Tiramisu - it’s delicious!!

Loved this place. Food and service were excellent. Limited time menu options have been superb as has the Spaghetti and meatballs with Truffle sauce and herbed ricotta (Tuesday is pasta night), and the handmade pizzas. The Exec Chef has it dialed in and it shows. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly and engaging from top down (Alex, Laura, Axel) Tiramisu is good but I preferred the Limoncello Trifle. Would definitely recommend a visit.
Parking: Street parking is hit or miss, just park in the garage under the Element Hotel and be done with it.
Kid-friendliness: No issues here other than their personal palates.
Wheelchair accessibility: Very easy access with plenty of tables at proper heights.
Trattoria Tuesday is always fully packed! Mostly because the Italian food is so delicious! The service we had goes way beyond the call of duty. Our group felt like we were very appreciated by the staff there so kudos to our server and her team.
Parking: Probably best to park near the residential area half a block away.
Had a great meal today at Trattoria. It was Pasta Tuesday and we had the truffle cream spaghetti with meatballs. For $16 the food was an absolute bargain. The portion was great with 3 meatballs and a large serving of the pasta. Beyond the portion were the flavours which were unbelievable. The truffle cream sauce of the pasta was amazing. I would love to get the recipe for it. As well I had the pleasure of meeting one of the owners Michael who was an absolute sweetheart. He was professional, welcoming and kind. I observed him joyfully interacting with the other restaurant patrons. Overall I would highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the mood for Italian or just good food overall. The atmosphere is great, food was stellar and the people were awesome. Looking forward to my next dining experience there.

Came here for brunch on a Sunday and it was very empty which was nice! They had a good selection of food for their brunch menu ranging from benny's to pastas. My friend and I ordered the Trattoria Breakfast and the Breakfast Pizza. Both items came pretty quick and was delicious. I feel the only thing to point out was that the service was really slow. It took a long time to take our orders and also a long time to get our bills.
