Fabulous family restaurant. I paid $28 on a Saturday night. I tried all sorts of foods offered at the buffet and it was all fresh and delicious. I was impressed that even their salad was fresh and crisp. Only disappointment was that their coffee machine was broken down. But their rice pudding was warm and so yummy😋 Better than I remembered Uncle Willy's when it was at Guildford.

I was here for New Year's Eve dinner and I really liked it. They had a good variety of quality dishes, featuring roasted turkey, roast beef, fried chicken, and others. I also liked their soft ice cream and coffee.
Overall, I think it was worth it. It was pretty busy that evening as well. The staff were nice and friendly.
I'd only suggest the owner to tidy up their food stations to look a bit more neat and fresh, ensuring that all the utensils, like tongs and scoops are clean and in the right spot. That'd be greatly appreciated!

Uncle Willy’s Buffet was a very disappointing experience. The salads were not fresh — the cucumbers were old. The rice tasted old, and the cheesecake and cake were stale, with the cake not properly baked and tasting raw. The roasted beef was poor quality, and none of us could finish it. The only item that was somewhat edible was the breaded chicken legs, but even those were extremely greasy inside.
Shortly after leaving the restaurant, I had diarrhea, which is very concerning.
The furniture is very old, and the restaurant was nearly empty — only about 25% of the tables were occupied. Just a 2-minute walk away, the Metrotown food court was packed with people, which says a lot. Customers clearly choose places that respect food quality and hygiene.
I would not recommend this restaurant.

This place is a waste of money Saturday lunch $20 not even a beef just fried chicken and mini sausage and cold food. Before you pay look around what food they have. I used to come here when it was good 10yrs ago now it sucks! They should just turn this place into a fried chicken fast food cause that’s the only decent meat you can eat.

They wanted us to pay $25 for my child to not eat at the buffet. My child has sensory issues and food aversions and eats very specific food. There would have been 3 paying adults and I even offered for my child to sit at a table by the door so they could see he wasn’t eating anything.

I used to go to this place years ago. Back then it was a great place. Yesterday I went back. It’s now a dump. The fried chicken from yrs ago has now evolved into 1/2” thick coated legs only. No thighs of breast. Just overall a disgusting place for $20
