Wow, been going here randomly since the 80’s to say it’s gone downhill is an understatement. The owner/manager gave our table dirty looks which started when I walked through the door and it slammed behind me, perhaps fix your door rather than scowl at the customer! Food was atrocious, I had roast lamb, tzatziki was tasteless, not sure what’s Greek about the meal?! Yuk! Don’t waste your money, I won’t be back, the end of many era, such a shame!.

Service waz terrible by da owner..food is terrible taste n there's no greek salad now ..its terrible terrible Service..i will nver go there again... we ask for hot sauce n he slam da bottle in our table n left.....this owner is very un polite didnt even ask us if we lyk to order any drink ...very bad service...

The food and service are great, and the ambiance is absolutely charming with lots of beautiful plants and vintage décor. Just a heads-up—the owner can be a bit grumpy, sometimes even impolite, so be prepared!

Waiter/ owner, sour faced, grumpy even. Slammed plates onto table, No after care while eating, no smiling ' how is everything?' Usual service protical non ex istent. Waited for bill to arrive, had to find server. When I mentioned all this yo him,,said he was too busy. The place holds at least 100, there were 3 tables occupied.
Yes food was standard greek; despite,abundant foliage of fresh herbs everywhere, no presentation effort, on plating.
Wine was dated, meaning been opened too long. How this place has survived, amazing. Certain, not many become repeat customers.
Guessing owners are servers and cook.
Tough competition in greek dining, but I'm glad I can rake it off list of places to suggest.

Came in with my family , owner saw me walk in , I told him table for 4 please , he just looked at me and did not say anything , 10 min later we are still standing and know one is helping us , place was empty, we walked out , never going back here

DON’T! This used to be our go to Greek Restaurant in Burnaby but something has happened since our last visit. We overlooked the poor reviews thinking there must be a mistake but they were spot on. Food is now horrible and service was as expected with 1 server for the whole restaurant on a Saturday night. We will not be back.

The restaurant itself looks beautiful on the out and inside.
Unfortunately the lamb souvlaki tasted more like the server's cologne than a greek grill. The rice pilaf was moist, unseasoned. The single fleurette of cauliflower just didn't make sense. And the potatoes were baked rather than roasted. The redeeming item was by far the tzatziki.
In short, my dinner tasted like it came from a restaurant that has stopped trying.
But I want to seem bounce back because I remember driving past and seeing the restaurant filled with guests. And it would be nice to try it again when they're back on top!

Service was terrible. The older guy didn't talk to us very politely, giving us a big deal for asking for hot water. Slams the water in the table, and our dinner was presented like that too. The food was so so. Not really worth your energy. I almost wished we didn't go.

It was probably the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant in my life.

Service was rude and slow. The server had zero knowledge about anything on the menu. And couldn't even open a bottle of wine .
No water, even when I asked like 5 times, and I asked for a spoon for my daughter multiple times to no avail.

Food was absolutely horrible!!
Zero seasoning, cold in the middle, and burnt on top.
The portions are huge but disgusting.
Not one person at our table finished even 1/4 of their meal.
Also it was very expensive for what you got .

I tried to tell the owner and server about the quality of everything and neither cared the slightest.

I will never be back, and I recommend everyone stay as far away from this place as possible .

Such a cute place to dine in on a Friday night! Staff were friendly and accommodating. More of a formal dine in rather than a casual dine in.

People need to know about this restaurant. Feels like a cozy family dinner. Best vibes, best service, so welcoming, so kind. Fresh ingredients!

I called ahead to make a reservation for my family, but no one mentioned there was a minimum charge per person. When we arrived and checked the menu, it stated a minimum charge but didn’t specify the amount, which was frustrating, especially since my grandparents don’t eat much. This unexpected charge made things awkward from the start.

The atmosphere was off. The restaurant was mostly empty except for two other tables that had already been served. Half the lights were off, giving it a dreary vibe, and there was only one waitress serving the entire place. Oddly, instead of attending to us—like refilling our waters—she kept passive-aggressively trying to clear our plates before we were done. It felt like we were being rushed even though the place wasn’t busy.

To make things worse, we waited at least 30 minutes for our food, despite there being barely any customers. Each dish was priced pretty $$$$ for what it was. And to top it off, if you have five or more people, there’s a mandatory 17% service charge for what was essentially zero service. Overall, it felt like the restaurant is on its last legs and probably won’t last much longer unless things drastically improve.

Place is not child friendly at all. The owner seemed frustrated that we had our 2 year old daughter with us. The waitress looked like she hated her job, she was rude and ignorant when we asked about a high chair or booster seat. I am visibly pregnant and was served raw chicken. Didn’t want to say anything because we have heard stories that the owner gets very belligerent with customers who speak up.
Food was under seasoned and way too expensive for the quality. Portion size was actually pretty decent. But the price point was way too high.
